POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

After exactly 2 years of having everything packed away in boxes, I finally got to unpack it all this month, put every piece in its place and bring this new room to life.

More than just a gaming room, I wanted to create a space that truly represents the things I enjoy: playing games, listening to music and watching shows on the CRT.

Everything was designed and arranged to my taste, trying to find the right balance between a space where I can enjoy video games and a little corner that allows me to reconnect with an era that means so much to me.

A huge thank you to @colormaderacr for the incredible work, patience and for helping me turn this idea into reality. The result turned out even better than I imagined.

Thank you as well to @mikadocenter for the instruction strips. They add that little detail that instantly brings me back to the feeling of walking through one of the greatest arcade museums.

And having memories of experiences like the opportunity to meet Ikeda at Cave’s offices in Japan makes this room even more meaningful.

A special thank you to @arcade.cat for always making me part of ShmupFest in Barcelona. Having one of the event’s banners hanging in my home is just wonderful.

Thanks to all the friends I’ve made along this journey. It’s crazy to think about how many amazing people I’ve met through this hobby. Many of the things in this room came from friends I’ve met along the way, and after two years in boxes, everything finally has a place. ❤️

This is just a quick overview of the room. Tomorrow I’ll share detailed pictures.

After yesterday’s Nintendo Direct, I got super excited about the new Kirby and Metroid games, two of my favorite IPs from Nintendo! It would be amazing if they also ported Planet Robobot to the Switch 2, just like they did with Luigi’s Mansion 2.

Anyway, here are some details of the room I mentioned before. 🎮

What got you excited about yesterday’s news? Zelda looks amazing too! 👀

Highlights from Guwange, my last 1 credit clear from Cave, I’m missing 2 more clears to finish with all their library, at least to 1 loop all of them.

Love this genre and will keep capturing all the games that I can so more people can enjoy them as well, those games needs to be played!

Full run will be available at the STGcvlt YT Channel, make sure you follow it if you enjoy or want to learn about this genre.

CAVE X Mikado

Stay tuned !! 🐝
