Nationals East Champion 2026 🏆

Ticket punched… next stop, ATL shawty. ✈️

Every round, every early morning, every hard session, every person who’s pushed me, believed in me, and stood in my corner played a part in this. Couldn’t have done it without my team and my support system. Love y’all for real. 💯

No celebrating for too long though… it’s back to the lab. 🧪 The work never stops.

This camp wasn’t easy. New environment. New rhythm. Uncertainty. But I trusted the direction God was guiding me in… and we made it through.
Through the pain, the pressure, the doubt — we still stood tall.

Infinite gratitude to my professors @matheusdinizjj & @loftusjiujitsu at @ascend.bjj for welcoming me with open arms and sharpening my blade every single day. World-class instruction, world-class energy, real brotherhood. Hands down the highest level training room I’ve ever been in — and I’m bringing MORE gold home with us. 🔥

Shoutout to my personal support system — my beautiful fiance for keeping me locked in, accountable, and perfectly angled at all times ❤️

Came up short this weekend, but we don’t run from the result — we learn from it. 🥋🔥

Came in HOT with a first-round RNC finish, but couldn’t secure the gold, dropping my next matches on points.

No excuses. No pity party. Just data. 🎯

I know what worked. I know what needs work. And now I’m fired up to get back in the lab and enter this next training camp HEAVY.

Losses don’t kill confidence when you know who you are. They expose the holes so you can come back sharper, stronger, and harder to deal with.

Lately, I’ve been slower to respond…
not because I have nothing to say,
but because I’ve been listening more.

Compliments hit different now.
Sometimes they bring tears to my eyes.
Maybe because I’m finally learning to receive the love I’ve spent so much time giving away.

I think deeper about my words.
My actions.
The energy I leave behind in people.

Drama doesn’t entertain me anymore.
Gossip feels expensive.
I’d rather spend that energy building something…
a business, a future, a legacy, myself.

I’m spending less time trying to figure out every “how”
and more time simply putting my foot to the ground and moving.

More grey hairs are showing up.
My heart is getting softer.
I’m more affectionate.
I say how things make me feel instead of pretending they don’t.

I’m trying not to bottle everything up anymore.

I laugh.
I cry.
I work incredibly hard.
And some days… I’m lazy as hell too.

I’m learning that growth doesn’t always look like becoming stronger.

Sometimes growth looks like becoming softer.
Quieter.
More intentional.
More honest.

I’m changing.

And I’m realizing…

I’m not supposed to be the person I once was.
