🚚🎄 The Fill the Truck Challenge is HERE, Buffalo!

Trusted Gives and Bacon Home Remodeling are teaming up to fill the Bacon Home Remodeling truck with toys and warm clothes for local kids this holiday season, and we need your office to help us do it.

🎁 How it works:
• Reserve a pickup date in November
• Collect 20 new, unwrapped items: toys, books, activity kits, coats, hats, gloves, socks
• The truck pulls up at your office for a group photo, and we feature you in a recognition post
• Hit 40+ items and earn Top Giver status!

We’re sponsoring families alongside King Urban Life Center, Family Justice Center of WNY, and United Hope of Buffalo, and every item helps make a holiday morning brighter for a Buffalo kid.

🚨 New York has declared a State Disaster Emergency over measles.

As of Oct. 3, there have been 108 confirmed cases in NY State this year, including 92 since July 15 in under-immunized rural communities across 18 counties. Erie County confirmed 2 cases back in June.

Congratulations to @shpbuffalo for being apart of the 400,000 beds delivered Nationally! 🛏️💙 From one bed in 2012 to 400,000 kids with a safe place to sleep. We're proud to have supported SHP Buffalo through our 2023 bedding drive and our holiday Give Back Day volunteering. No kid sleeps on the floor in our town! 💛

Grateful doesn't even begin to cover it. 🌻

Last week, we gathered with our incredible donors and sponsors for a Farm Dinner at 5 Loaves Farm — celebrating the support that makes our work possible, surrounded by the beauty this farm grows every single day (huge shoutout to @nickelcityfloral, who grows those gorgeous flowers right there on the farm!).

5 Loaves Farm isn't just growing flowers and food — they're growing community, offering a youth internship program, fresh produce access, and a spiritual resource for the Buffalo neighborhoods they serve. We're honored to support their mission.

And the best way to say thank you? Come celebrate WITH them. 🎉

Mark your calendars for Celebrate the Harvest — 5 Loaves Farm's annual fundraiser on Thursday, September 25th, 5:00–7:30 PM at 70 W. Delavan Ave, Buffalo. Expect live music, lawn games, raffle baskets, and food from local vendors — all in support of their youth internship program and fresh produce mission.
