A special milestone for me in my first year coaching track and field at Awty International School.

I’m proud to celebrate my first athlete committing to compete at the collegiate level in track and field.

What makes this achievement so special isn’t just the result, it’s the work, dedication, and commitment that went into earning it. Over my years of coaching, I’ve rarely seen the level of motivation, determination, and consistency that this young man has showed

When I first met him in 2025, his long jump personal record was 20’9”. Through consistent training and a commitment to improvement, he quickly progressed to 21’5” and eventually reached 22’11” within a year. The most impressive part is that he had only started competing in the long jump the year before. To now have the opportunity to continue his track and field career at the collegiate level speaks volumes about his work ethic and character. Many athletes spend years pursuing this goal.

Thank you for trusting me throughout the process and for always being willing to learn, compete, and put in the work. Your success is well deserved.

I also want to thank the Mouton family for trusting me to be a part of their son’s athletic journey. Your support and belief have meant a great deal.

Congratulations on this next chapter. This is only the beginning, and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish at the next level. taken in Houston, Texas by @trutracksports
