i’m on a mission to make things like funding more accessible to creatives.

honestly, just having your admin and ideas in order already puts you 10x ahead when opportunities come up.

i made a free foundational funding starter pack on battora to help with exactly that.

check it out. it’s free.
love,

We had a conspiracy night. Most were on AI, surveillance and data. Except a few 😂
Check out what we’re saying 😙

— An investigation into wine, birds, and the suspicious nature of reality. —

— WHAT IF
MEN ARE
ALIENS? —

— Jesus and his foot obsession are suspicious —

—

— THE AI CONSPIRACY
Are We Creating Our Own Replacement?
Fact, fear, speculation and the future of
artificial intelligence —

— My happy, probably older self,
is in another universe —

— Hollywood may introduce society to controversial technologies and ideas through entertainment before they become widely accepted in real life —

— THEY KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING —

— Highkey, this is a conspiracy
theory presentation on gay shit —

— AI is programming you to choose data over detail
The sonic, the visual, the human story —

What felt like a thoughtfully curated live performance evening compelled me to find out whose mind, work and time went into creating it. This is a process I love and care about because, well, I do it for work too.

I walked to Jade, immediately after the show. Then somewhere in my heap of questions mid-conversation, I realised, I want to archive her story, her mind and the Sofar Sounds Johannesburg story.

Thank God @jadebeebs said yay to chatting about how she gracefully executes the programming for Sofar Sounds JHB and more ✨

It’s a great honour and a pleasure to have been selected to be part of the DIFF Film Festival Residency 2026 🙌🏼✨

As much as Kgorong Film Festival: Dance Edition could not happen in the previous year because of lack of funding.

This residency has opened our minds to thinking beyond the money. Beyond the funds. We have each other 🤞🏼🥹

@durbaninternationalfilmfest @fibbykioria @metric_anomaly @mucii_pictures

This is important work you’re doing. May this residency continue to inspire and ignite that burning fire we have to platform African film and the journey of the arts in our continent.
