Maybe I had to go through it so someone else could believe they can get through it too. A year ago, I was in ICU bed after collapsing at @totalsportstwooceansmarathon .👑The confusion was real.👑The memory loss was real👑The fear was real.👑The uncertainty was real.There were moments when I wondered if that finish line would forever remain unfinished. But we could not let that become the end of the story.Fitness has always been a metaphor for my life.👑Sometimes you fall.👑Sometimes your body gives in before your spirit does.👑Sometimes the dream feels further away than ever before.But if God placed the dream in your heart, don’t stop at the chapter where it hurts. A comeback is a deeply personal thing👑It’s choosing to believe again.👑It’s trusting your body again.👑It’s trusting God again.👑 its finding the right destiny helpers @waterfall_hpc 👑It’s finding the courage to start over when no one would blame you for quitting.In 2025, I was in ICU. In 2026, I crossed the finish line and fetched my medal.👑Not because I’m special.👑But because I chose not to let one moment define the rest of my story. This Mandela Day, I chose to create with my hands and give with my heart.Together with @ladlesoflove, I built a little wooden car and left a handwritten message for the child who will receive it.
