🌸 Happy Easter 🌸 He Is Risen 🙏

Happy Gotcha Day to my sweet Lila. March 31, 2012, was such a beautiful day I will never forget. As soon as I got home with Lila, she ran around the house, barking and twirling because she knew she was home. I was so happy. We played fetch for most of the day until she needed a nap. Snoring loudly, of course.😍
Now, in her heavenly home, I hope she's still twirling and playing fetch.
I love you Lila and I will always miss you. Thank you for the unconditional love and happiness you gave me over the years. You will always be my girl.
Until we meet again....

It's been 3 months today since my dear sweet Lila left earth to be with her Maker in heaven. I will always miss my beautiful girl but I'm forever thankful for the time we had together.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out to me over the past 3 months. Your love and concern for me have lifted my spirits. Thank you for loving my Lila as I have.
Love you all!🩷 taken in Heaven by @tsloan64

With my broken heart, I want to let you know my dear Lila passed away the day after Christmas, December 26, 2023. She was recently diagnosed with #MVD, a grade 3 heart murmur, and in the early stages of Dementia. The medication she was taking helped her until Christmas Day when she again began a chronic cough she couldn't recover from. She passed away the following day with the assistance of her vet. As she passed, I prayed over her and held her close. I asked her to send me signs to let me know she's still with me, which she has sweetly done. I told her I'd see her again someday, but for now, she will be in heaven with her Maker. I will always cherish my time with her. I've been so blessed to be her Mom.
❤️Lila, I love you. I will hold you in my heart until I can hold you in my arms again.❤️ taken in Heaven by @tsloan64

#flashbackfriday and Happy birthday to my beautiful 14 year old girl. She brings me so much joy and I love her more and more as time goes by. Thankfully, she's still healthy but has slowed down just a little. She enjoys her long naps, sitting in the sunshine and car rides. As long as she continues to twirl and woo-hoo for her meals, I know she's happy and all is good in her world.
I love you Lila!!💜💜💜

🎶Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday my love Lila, Happy birthday to you!🎶 #tuneswithlila
My beautiful Lila turns 13 years old today. She may be getting older but she's still my baby. In some Scandinavian countries, her name means purple 💜. Here in the US it means dark beauty. Either way, she's my love!

Dear Lord, so far today I'm behaving well. I haven't begged for food, not hunted any squirrels and not even barked at a bird. But....I'll be getting up soon so there's a chance I will really need your help!

While winter storm Izzy is heading our way❄, I'm laying here contemplating how to steal moms plastic card thingy to buy a plane ticket to go hang out with @chloethecavalier07
Since she's made me an honorary Aussie, it's time to test out my pawsport for some fun in the sun!☀️
