TEP is investing in fracked gas to power data centers. We don’t want to invest in fracked gas for any large scale projects, let alone data centers. In this climate, renewable energy is the most important source of energy to be investing in, which TEP is NOT interested in. The only thing they are interested in is their profits. Vote NO on Prop 421 in November. #tucsonaz🌵 #tucsonarizona🌵 #publicpower #tucsonarizona #desertliving taken in Tucson by @tucsonpublicpower

Ballots are out and it's time to vote NO on Prop 421! From the Daily Star: DSA-endorsed Ward 6 Councilmember Miranda Schubert @tucsonschubert says she is voting NO on the TEP franchise agreement. "She said the 25-year time frame is unnecessarily long, and the $2 million per year TEP will put toward climate resiliency is insufficient. Meanwhile, TEP is spending $1.47 million in company profits (that's money they made from our high rates!) to convince Tucson to take their bad deal. They even paid $14k for "yes" arguments in the election info pamphlet. Say NO to TEP and NO to Prop 421! by @tucsonpublicpower

How old will you be in 2050? The franchise agreement between the city of Tucson and TEP does not expire for 25 years. Do we really want to give unbalanced power to TEP until 2050? Vote NO on Prop 421 this November. #publicpower #tucsonaz🌵 #tucsonarizona #tucsonarizona🌵 #tucson taken in Tucson, Arizona by @tucsonpublicpower
