I traded the 📺 teleprompter for a telehandler.

Plot twist: I'm not retiring, I'm renting. 🏗️

After 15 years of waking up at 1am to tell Tulsa the news (and 14 before that in Columbia, MO), I've traded the anchor desk for a hard hat (literally — keep swiping 😂).

I'm officially a Territory Account Manager with EquipmentShare, which means if you build things, fix things, or run job sites around Tulsa, I'm your girl for equipment rentals.

Two weeks in and I've already learned what a telehandler is, which feels like a genuine accomplishment. 😂

Thirty. 🎂

Harlee, the newsroom called me "Mama Michelle," but the truth is you taught me more than I ever taught you.

I love you like a daughter. Tommy and Charlee calling me “Mimi Michelle” is one of the greatest honors of my life.

We've both moved on from TV news, but never from each other. Can't be with you tonight, so I'm celebrating you here instead.

If only I’d known @marcylynnward was going to turn us into big time influencers.

Too bad I already went and found a new gig and today is the first day of the rest of my life.

Good thing I’ll always be up for shenanigans and nonsense with Dean, and now I’ll be a hell of a lot more rested and relaxed!

I slept until 6AM today!

Day One of “retirement” from TV news.

My bestie sister-in-law and I went HARD at @Junklahoma in Piedmont.

Good thing it was in the triple digits and we were drenched in our own sweat, or we would have done far more damage.

We stopped at @KC’s Re-Vintage in Bristow and Larry is a GEM.

In May, my bestie took me to her hometown of Guymon for the Pioneer Days Rodeo, and it was epic. She also took me to Hooker, Oklahoma, and obviously I HAD to get this shirt.⁣⁣

So many people have asked what’s next. I’m definitely not retiring!

For years, I thought I would anchor the news until I died. That was honestly my plan. But, the plan changed.

I changed.

I am feeling so lucky, so grateful, and so hopeful!

I am going to work for a fantastic company that invests in its people.

The older I get the more I realize time is our most precious gift.

I’m excited to spend my time helping local businesses achieve success.

I’m also excited to spend a lot more time with my family.

This new opportunity is changing everything. It feels so good to be hopeful again. by @tulsamichellelinn

When I'm in a funk, thrifting with my son usually pulls me out of it. It worked like a charm yesterday.

They're dramatic. They're velvet. Maybe they're a little tacky.

I've told people it means "strength."

I've told people it means "peace."

I've even told people it means "obedient wife." That one's my favorite!

None of those are true.

My tattoo says crab rangoon. For real. And I love it.
