At Open Streets Hamilton, we took music beyond the stage and into the streets, bringing people together through creativity, culture, and connection.

From The Blueprint to the stage.

During Week 11 of The Blueprint, our “Book the Gig” session gave artists the opportunity to audition for a real performance opportunity, and Mazii was selected to hit the stage at Fresh Up Fest / School Night at Mills Hardware.

It was great seeing him take what he’s been building throughout the program and bring it to a live audience. He even brought out fellow Blueprint artist Cozy Manos, and the energy in the room was on point.

Huge shoutout to Mazii, Cozy, the band and all of the artists who performed that night.

And a special thank you to Lisa LaRocca for continuing to create opportunities for artists coming through The Blueprint to get on real stages, connect with new audiences and put the work into practice.

This is what The Blueprint is all about, not just talking about the music industry, but creating opportunities for artists to actually experience it.

Back to school, but make it COMMUNITY. 🎒🔥

We had such a great time joining @stac_hamilton for their Back to School Festival and connecting with families, young people, and community partners across Hamilton.

The day was full of good energy, meaningful connections, live music, 300 backpacks for students, and $1,000 scholarships helping young people take their next steps. 🙌🏾

This is what happens when community organizations work together, more access, more opportunities, and more young people supported.

💜 YOUTH MATCH: Connecting young people to what they need to thrive.

We were proud to partner on the inaugural Youth Match: A Community-Based Youth Navigation & Social Prescribing Initiative, bringing young people, community organizations, service providers and caring adults together in one space to build stronger pathways to support.

We recognize that youth need the right connection, at the right time, to the right people.

From mental health and wellness to education, employment, mentorship, recreation and community belonging, Youth Match was about making those connections easier, more personal and more accessible.

A huge thank you to Refuge Health, Hamilton Health Sciences, Sisters in Sync, every participating organization, and most importantly, the young people who showed up and engaged. 🙌🏾

This is what community looks like when we work together.

That’s a wrap on Soundtrack of the City 2026! 🎶❤️

We closed out this year’s concert series on Emancipation Day with Reggae Royalty, a joyful celebration of freedom, resilience, culture and community through the timeless music of Bob Marley and Marcia Griffiths. 🇯🇲

D.M. and Tesharah brought the bandshell to life as families danced, sang and celebrated together. It was the perfect ending to a summer that took us from Kings of Pop to Country Royalty, Kings of Soul and finally, Reggae Royalty.

Across four concerts, Soundtrack of the City carried our memories, connected generations and created space for communities to come together.

Thank you to every artist who shared their gift, every community member who joined us and the incredible team at @hamilton_civicmuseums and Fieldcote Memorial Park & Museum for helping make this series possible.

Until the next soundtrack… 🎵

Reggae has been a voice for liberation, resistance, unity and hope and we’re honoured to celebrate that legacy with our community.

The reviews are in: Hamilton felt the soul! 🎶💛

Sean Jones brought the timeless music of Marvin Gaye to life at Fieldcote for our third Soundtrack of the City concert and the crowd was with him every step of the way.

From singing along and dancing to sharing the memories this music brought back, the Kings of Soul tribute brought generations together through the songs that have shaped us.

Thank you to Sean and everyone who joined us!
