As part of #BehindTheDesign, TVS Principal Emery Leonard shares the thinking behind the rooftop pavilion and plaza, where a dense urban setting became an opportunity to give guests access to open air and skyline views in the middle of Manhattan’s West Side.⁣
⁣
A one-acre working farm brings another layer to the rooftop experience, producing food for the facility while allowing visitors to step outside and still feel immersed in the energy of New York City.⁣

As expectations for the workplace keep changing, office properties have to keep pace. Across four Florida projects, TVS brought architecture and interior design together to refresh the character and function of each property.

Focused updates allow each property to feel renewed without losing what already works. Changes to materials and lighting bring a more current feel, while refreshed shared spaces build on the elements that still give each building character.

At Hayden Ferry Lakeside, @romangodoffire brings a new dining experience to the Tempe waterfront.

Designed by TVS as part of the continued transformation of the property, the architecture of Roman takes cues from its surroundings while establishing a distinct presence of its own. A rhythmic series of arched openings and weathered steel screens wraps the exterior, with warm lighting and landscaping shaping the experience from the approach to the entrance. by @tvsdesign

We’re proud to be included among the top 10 sports facility architecture firms nationwide in @bdcnetwork's 2026 Giants 400.

The recognition comes during a major year for our Sports practice. This summer, the Atlanta stadium, where TVS designed premium clubs, suites, concourses, and elevated food-and-beverage environments, welcomed over half a million fans across eight World Cup matches. Meanwhile, serving as Architect of Record for two mega-scale sports venue developments taking shape in Nashville and Oklahoma City, we’re thrilled to see these next-generation projects continue hitting major construction milestones as we shape the future of the fan experience across the nation. by @tvsdesign

For #NationalSkyscraperDay, we’re spotlighting 1072 West Peachtree, a 60-story tower that now stands as Midtown Atlanta’s tallest building.

The mixed-use tower makes the most of its compact Midtown site, with a slender residential portion that uses a unique pinwheel layout to give every unit views in at least two directions. At street level, retail space helps connect the building to West Peachtree Street and the surrounding neighborhood.

Designed by TVS and developed by @rockefellergroup, 1072 West Peachtree is set to become Atlanta’s fourth-tallest building and the city’s tallest high-rise built since 1992. by @tvsdesign

The World Cup brought global attention and a new level of energy to Atlanta this summer, with fans gathering across the city’s downtown sports and entertainment district.

For TVS, it was a chance to experience that energy firsthand in an area where our work has intersected with sports, entertainment and the public realm for decades, from contributions at @mercedesbenzstadium to the ongoing transformation of @thectratlanta.

Seeing the district come alive on a global stage offered a real-time look at how venues and the spaces around them shape the fan experience.

As college football returns, the @cfbhall brings the spirit of the season to life in Atlanta.

The Hall of Fame channels game day energy into a full-scale visitor experience, guiding fans from an immersive entry tunnel into The Quad, where a dramatic helmet wall represents more than 750 college teams.

With a 45-yard indoor football field and interactive exhibits throughout, it gives fans a place to step into the stories and shared energy that make college football feel larger than the game itself.

We’re saddened to share that TVS co-founder Tom Ventulett has passed away.

Tom was one of three people who had the vision to start Thompson, Ventulett, Stainback & Associates in 1968. His care for Atlanta ran deep, and that care shaped some of the places where this city has gathered ever since, including the Georgia World Congress Center, CNN Center, the Omni, and the Georgia Dome.

As an architect and artist, Tom showed us how much care could be expressed through design. As a founder, he created a place where generations of talented people could learn from one another, grow together and contribute to the work of the firm in their own way.

Tom’s influence remains a part of TVS today, and his vision helped set the practice on a path that would reach far beyond Atlanta. We’re grateful for all he gave to the firm and the profession, and he will be greatly missed.

In Mumbai, the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (@nmacc.india) brings India’s cultural heritage into a singular performance destination.

Part of the larger @jioworldcentre, the LEED Platinum venue spans 192,500 square feet and is anchored by a 2,000-seat Grand Theatre, with additional spaces for intimate performances and exhibitions.

Lotus-inspired forms shape the experience throughout, from the illuminated exterior canopy to the Grand Theatre’s bespoke 17-petal ceiling, where 8,400 programmable Swarovski crystals transform the room into part of the performance itself.
