While many people know me for my work in theatre and film, education has become another one of my greatest passions.

Hello! My name is Taye-Rafael Jackson, and I’m from Donaldsonville, Louisiana. For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of serving children and adults through both education and mental health in a variety of roles. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Film from @dillarduniversity in 2023 and will be attending @lsu next fall to pursue my Master’s in Educational Leadership.

Over the years, I’ve served as a Substitute Teacher, Mental Health Technician, ABA Technician, 1:1 Paraprofessional, an 11th-12th grade U.S. History teacher, and this school year, I’m excited to return to the classroom as a 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade ELA Teacher.

I truly love pouring into the next generation by creating a classroom that is both academically rigorous and welcoming for every student. As I prepare for the new school year, I’d be incredibly grateful if you would consider supporting my classroom by purchasing an item from my Amazon Wishlist (link in bio!).
Every contribution, big or small, helps create meaningful learning experiences for my students.

Thank you for believing in me, supporting my journey, and investing in the future of our young leaders. ❤️🍎
