Feeling a little sentimental today.
🥹Putting our plants to sleep before our first frost and doing our final harvests all week .
Going through the usual motions to start to wrap up my 12th growing season here at Tweefontein. (wow time does fly)
The beauty and healing magic of the plant and nature kingdom is such an amazing gift to behold.
But as the leaves fall and plants are shedding, I am humbled by the beauty and depth of love of all the amazing humans who have made Tweefontein such a special place.
With a few of our amazing team members leaving the farm and soaring to new opportunities this year’s fall is tugging on my heart and tear strings a bit extra.
All good things change, transform, grow and sometimes come to an end and i am struck with wonder standing and bearing witness to it all.
Utterly grateful for the opportunity to co-create this space of beauty and magic with beautiful humans..
Thank you to Tweam here at the farm and all of our supporters..
So much love,
Chris by @tweefontein_herbs

We had a really good year with our garlic!🧄 We made nearly 100 braids which are available now at the farm shop and at our NYC farmers markets! (we also had a really fun time in the process) The roots of garlic growing run deep here at Tweefontein and we always pay homage to Tweefontein’s OG matriarch and founder Anne Salomon, an avid garlic grower and enthusiast.🥰 Gratitude for those who came before us to pave the way for all the magic we get to create today.
Special shout out to Buck and Mace our Farmers who are really slaying it this year tending to the farm!
Come get your braids before we sell out!
Also check out Bucks music (featured in this post) @beccamancari
