While I was meditating today, suddenly this work popped up in my mind. I realised that I posted a picture of this work exactly 10 years ago from today on the way to go Edinburgh to edit the film with @cplkao from Huddersfield.

I really loved this work but I feel like this was the least lucky piece which wasn’t accepted anywhere to show. I submitted as a dance film but I don’t think it fitted in that category. Recently, I was talking about this work with Lucas again, and Lucas described it as a “dance installation”, which feels definitely a better description.

No matter what happened to the work, I am an extremely lucky person who I was able to work with the amazing and beautiful people.

🌕 Pink Moon North American Premiere 🌖

I’m still recovering from @isffc_filmfestival and my Cyprus trip so I’ve been late to share this but we are buzzing to have been selected to @docnycfest 2024! For friends in New York 💖👇🏼

🎟️ IFC Center - November 18, 2024 4:15 PM @ifccenter

🎟️ Village East by ANGELIKA- November 19, 5:15 PM @villageeastbyangelika

I would have never thought that our story and garden from the remote corner of our often politically ignored island of Cyprus will take me to the US for the first time in such hard times like now.

I chose this picture because we are trying to mediate political polarisation within our family and it’s such an interesting time to present this film in the US with the idea that we need to understand each other and work together.
