There’s something incredibly satisfying about seeing a carefully curated selection of fabrics gradually come together into finished pieces. From the first cut to the final stitch, every cushion is made by hand in my Bedfordshire atelier with the same level of care and attention I’d expect for my own clients.

I know what it’s like to specify fabrics, present schemes to clients, and want every detail to be executed exactly as you envisioned. Having spent many years as an interior designer, I understand the importance of craftsmanship, communication and reliability.

That’s why I love working with fellow designers.

Whether it’s bespoke curtains, Roman blinds or handcrafted cushions, every piece is made with care using traditional techniques and an uncompromising attention to detail.

Well, what a week! Decorex 2026, that’s a wrap! 💛

From metres of fabric arriving at the atelier to seeing our finished drapery hanging at the heart of Decorex. What an experience!

It’s been such a privilege to be part of ‘A Seat at the Table’, the beautiful Main Bar installation brought together by @aevencollective. A celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration across our wonderful interiors industry.

A huge thank you to Alex and the AEVEN team for inviting me to be part of this incredible project and trusting me to help bring their vision to life.

And a special thank you to @warwickfabricsuk, who generously supplied the beautiful fabric that made it all possible. The texture, warmth and movement of the fabric worked so wonderfully within the finished space, and it was an absolute pleasure to work with.

Beyond the installation itself, Decorex has been four days of inspiring conversations, reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones and celebrating the incredible talent within our industry.

For The White House Interiors, this has been a rather special milestone as we continue to grow our bespoke curtain and soft furnishings atelier, working alongside interior designers and design studios.

I’m heading back to the atelier feeling inspired, grateful and very excited about what comes next.

Today marks the third day of Decorex, and we're celebrating the incredible collaborators who have helped bring A Seat at the Table to life.

Each and every contribution has played an important role in transforming Grant Pierrus and Alex Dauley's vision into a reality.

Bringing together different disciplines, sharing expertise and creating opportunities for people and businesses to achieve something extraordinary together is a core value at AEVEN.

From the atelier to Olympia!

After weeks of measuring, cutting and stitching, the drapery for AEVEN Collective’s A Seat at the Table installation has finally found its home at Decorex 2026.

Today was installation day, and there’s something rather special about seeing 24 curtain panels, lovingly made in The White House Interiors atelier, become part of a much bigger creative vision.

A little climbing, adjusting, steaming and plenty of teamwork later, they’re up!

The installation is still coming together, but I couldn’t resist sharing a little behind-the-scenes glimpse.

The drapery for AEVEN Collective’s “A Seat at the Table” central bar installation at Decorex 2026 is finished, packed and ready to leave the workroom.

After weeks of measuring, cutting, stitching and making, there’s something very satisfying about seeing it all bundled up and ready for the next stage.

Next stop: Olympia. 🙌🏾

The making is well underway for A Seat at the Table, AEVEN Collective’s Main Bar installation for Decorex 2026.

Each panel is being made here in The White House Interiors workroom, ready to become part of a much bigger story when the installation comes together at Olympia.

There’s something rather lovely about knowing that the pieces currently taking over my workroom will soon be hanging at Decorex.

Making for designers is about much more than making curtains.

Having spent nearly two decades working in interior design, I understand what happens long before a length of fabric reaches the workroom.

The client conversations. The specifications. The site conditions. The deadlines. And all those tiny details that somehow become very big details when they’re not quite right.

That experience now shapes the way I work as a maker.

We’re joining @aevencollective at @decorex_international 2026 for ‘A Seat at the Table’ — a celebration of the makers, materials and ideas shaping British design today.

Designed around the idea of one industry, many voices and one shared space, AEVEN’s Central Bar will bring together the work of independent designers, makers, brands, suppliers and craftspeople.

And this is where my part begins. ✂️

The White House Interiors will be making the drapery for the installation — and this week, the fabric landed on my cutting table.

Over the next few weeks I’ll be taking you behind the scenes as it goes from rolls of fabric in the workroom to the finished installation at Olympia London.

A little reintroduction — because things have been changing around here.

The White House Interiors has evolved.

After nearly two decades working in interior design, I’ve found myself increasingly drawn back to the part of interiors I have always loved most: fabric, detail and the craft of making.

Today, the studio is focused on bespoke curtains, blinds and soft furnishings, both for private clients and as a trade workroom for interior designers.

It feels like a very natural meeting of two worlds — understanding a designer’s vision, the realities of a project, and what it takes to turn that vision into something beautifully made.

And there has been rather a lot happening behind the scenes lately…

Because next month, The White House Interiors will be making for @decorex_international as part of the Main Bar designed by @aevencollective

The entryway is nearly finished. Trying to renovate whilst juggling work and family is a trip!

I found the perfect paint and wallpaper combination from @dunelmuk to compliment my dream carpet from @alternativeflooring

Next we’ve got to hang the artwork and install the lighting and I can’t wait to share the finished space with you.
