HAPPY RELEASE DAY TO SHIV AND THE CARVERS!

Their new single “Executionary” is a certified Exclaim Staff Pick! ❤️

““Was I weird last night?”

It’s the text we send in the throes of hangxiety, but it speaks to a universal insecurity: What have I done wrong? For whatever it is, I deserve to be punished.

While those partaking in imbibing are severed from this shame in the moment, the morning after distills the feeling like no other.

Becoming their own judge, jury and executioner, Shiv and the Carvers — sober or otherwise — give this particular anxiety a home on “Executionary,” their latest single released in time for the band to showcase their new era amid local and international summer touring plans.” - Allie Gregory
