We’re thrilled to see @tonyiommi returning to the fold with a phenomenal new album, From the Dark. It feels like yesterday we sat down with him to explore the early days of Sabbath ahead of the first-ever @worldmetalcongress.

Incredible to think it’s been eight years to the day since we had our first-ever @spacerocksofficial event. Since then we’ve made films, hosted stages at the heart of the @europeanspaceagency at ESTEC in the Netherlands and not even the pandemic quieted us down.
I’ll never forget getting a patch that’d been in space from @astro_timpeake
@brianmayforreal got one too.
There’s a lot more to come. #watchthisspace #spacerocks by @twinvltd

What a pleasure to be asked to interview @zakkwyldebls about his new record Engines of Demolition for a very special fan gathering. Fantastic stories from Back to the Beginning to playing with Ozzy and the road ahead. A legend. A very funny man. Strong beard. Thanks for the pic, @danielpcarter #zackwylde #blacklabelsociety by @twinvltd

We’re over the moon to see that those arbiters of taste at @classicrockmag magazine have made @stevenwilsonhq’s The Overview their no.1 album of 2025. Back in February, we hosted an IMAX launch of the album along with a screening of its accompanying film at London’s BFI IMAX and safe to say it blew our minds, as did those stunning images. Space and music? We approve. #spacerocks #stevenwilson #theoverview #jwst

Music and sound didn’t just play an integral role in the making of our new film. A very special song was also the inspiration for its title. Spend any time reading the lyrics to Navigate the Seas of the Sun by Bruce Dickinson and you’ll see why we thought it was such a perfect choice.

The song comes from 2005’s magnificent Tyranny of Souls album. A huge thank you to Bruce for letting us include the track in the film as well.

Watch the full film via the link in our bio.

It feels like yesterday that our cameras were simultaneously rolling in Madrid, Darmstadt and above Easter Island to capture the moment that the first of four Cluster spacecraft de-orbited and our filmmaking journey began. A very special song by Bruce Dickinson came on the radio in our crew van and a light bulb went off about what to call it.
We’re premiering it on the @europeanspaceagency youtube channel tomorrow at 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET and we’ll be joined by people behind the science and the film itself in the live chat to answer your questions. Come on down! Link in the bio. #ESACluster #seasofthesun #spacerocks

We were thrilled to premiere Seas of the Sun at the Majestic Passy cinema in Paris this week for a very special audience of space scientists who were in town for the joint Cluster Plasma Observatory workshop and invited guests, with a special Q&A at the end with science operations support scientist Matt Taylor and mission manager Philippe Escoubet as well as a few stars of the documentary itself, including pieces of Cluster 1!
(It’s a long story.)
We’ll be hosting an online premiere and live chat with Cluster missions scientists this coming Thursday, October 30th at 18:00 GMT / 19:00 CET. Check the link in the bio for full details. #seasofthesun #ESAcluster #spacerocks 📸@ddscinegrapher

It’s publication day for Infinite Dreams, all about a band for whom anything seems possible. What a task to be editor, or indeed, Eddietor. It’s amazing to me to think it all started with a blank page.
We filled 350 of them but it easily could have been double that because just like this huge book, Iron Maiden’s story is massive. The prospect of somehow summarising it all at first seemed like an impossible feat and also an enormous responsibility and only made possible through a really wonderful team of people as well as the band themselves. It’s their story, and there really isn’t anything else like it.
As fans know Maiden’s is still very much still being written, but I was immensely proud to be a part of a book about their first 50 years. I hope people enjoy. I am so proud of this. Chin chin. #InfiniteDreams #Maiden50 #IronMaiden #UptheIrons by @twinvltd

It’s precisely five years and one week to the day I was wandering around a Norwegian coastline and various burial mounds with filmmaker Phil Wallis and Einar Selvik. We’d been asked to produce a short documentary series about Wardruna’s then-new record, Kvitravn. Covid was taking hold of the world, the borders were about to close, and between every take the news seemed to get worse and worse. Closer to home, a carefully laid plan to tour that record was coming unravelled with every passing phone call along with everything else in the world. It was a very heavy day and the eve of a very strange and devastating time for everyone but an oddly peaceful vantage point.
It made seeing Wardruna last night at the Royal Albert Hall all the more poignant: what a wonderful show, and what a statement on the power of renewal and this musical vision. So very fitting that it’s the Spring equinox today. I’ve never been anything less than humbled by this music — I will always carry that story too.
Congratulations to my friends who’ve worked so hard to get there. You’ve come a long way.
