The backyard at our Outpost Estates project was designed with the concept of indoor-outdoor living in mind. From the custom outdoor kitchen, poolside seating, custom firepit lounge, and hillside dining, we created a series of spaces for long afternoons, lingering dinners, and nights that stretch a little longer.

I’ve always loved spaces that allow you to feel immersed in nature, surrounded by trees and removed from the feeling of being in a city. (Hence my obsession with treehouses as a kid…)

When designing the third-floor primary suite addition at our Hancock Park project, we wanted to recreate that sense of escape through thoughtful space planning and a palette of calming, natural materials: honey oak flooring paired with honed Taj Mahal stone slabs that clad the walls, shower, and vanity. The custom steel windows line the entire bathroom, allowing you to bathe and shower completely in nature. Mission accomplished🌿

Office hours, summer edition🥃

Featuring the custom bar at our London office project. The goal for this large, open room was to create four distinct areas: two separate lounges, a dining area, and a fully functional bar.

We decided to position the bar along the window lined exterior wall to take full advantage of the view overlooking the blooming garden square. We chose crown cut oak for the cabinetry, honed calacatta gold marble for countertops, patinated brass for the foot rail cage along the concave curved island, and patinated brass and glass for the wall shelves. The bar is outfitted with a custom brass sink, brass faucet dispensing both filtered and sparkling water, ice maker, wine fridge, dishwasher, and a customized La Marzocco coffee machine for the best espresso. Beauty, meet function. by @twomusestudios
