American Welsh Stick Chair, built by Guild member Chris Pananoudakis.

Those comb back spindles and the through tenons wedged on top of the seat are what make a stick chair, and Chris nailed them. Great work Chris.

Hank Chair in walnut and leather, built by Guild member Marken Orser.

"This was my first chair build ever and it came out great! I was familiar with Jory's pieces so I was really excited when this project hit the guild several years ago. I was in graduate school at the National War College during the pandemic and this was one of the projects I built during that time. The instruction and plans were spot on and helped me build a ton of confidence." A first chair that looks like this is no small thing. Great work Marken.
