Hydration is the name of the game. Had the pleasure of doing a 1:1 striking session with @anthony.njokuani in Las Vegas. Great session, but I didn’t start the way I finished… phenomenal pacing and I had to dig until I couldn’t. S/O for a fast paced session, highly recommend you check out classes or private sessions with Anthony when you come to the fight capital of the world - Las Vegas, NV 🎰🇺🇸🥊

Thanks for the intro @my_martialartslife 🤝

Now the funny part of the video is the result of 118 degrees temps, lack of sleep, under caloried diet during a work week… well it all caught up in my calf in the form of a cramp. A friendly reminder to start hydrated, keep your potassium up and my learned lesson - Vegas in the summer, can feel like Thailand 🇹🇭

I’ve been a fan of Anthony since he fought Donald Cerrone on the tapout tv show. Anthony “The Assassin” Njokuani is a veteran of the UFC, WEC, ONE Championship and Lion Fight, Anthony built his reputation as one of the most exciting strikers in MMA. Checkout his fight against Edson Barboza, but if you haven’t seen it check out his highlights KO of Chris Horodecki. taken in Ribeiro Jiu-Jitsu Las Vegas by @ty_sbano

Megalobox doesn’t feel like fiction anymore.

We’re on the cusp of a human and technology transformation that will redefine combat sports. AI, robotics, and augmentation won’t replace fighters - we will create better training, longer careers, and new opportunities throughout the fight game.

My hope is we evolve the sport without losing what makes it special, finding your fighters heart, mind and soul through resiliency.

P.S. Season 1 is superior to season 2. If you want the OG watch Ashita no Joe (tomorrow’s joe). 🥊

Happy 250th celebration of 🇺🇸 the United States of America!

Today we celebrate more than our nation’s independence, we celebrate the freedom to choose who we become.

Martial arts has always reflected that same spirit. Every round, every lesson, and every improvement is an exercise in personal responsibility. No one can do the work for you. Progress is earned through discipline, resilience, and the willingness to keep moving forward, even when it’s difficult.

No Stopping Any Time.

The arcade taught us the wrong lesson.

We thought the goal was to beat the boss.

Martial arts teaches the opposite.

There is no final boss.

There is only the next level.

Continue?

Always.

Rise x Year of the Horse 2026

Limited edition long sleeve New Balance long sleeve shirt

Every year, we leave a mark - something that represents the work, the grind, and the moments we’ve built together. This one is about momentum in the face of unique times.

The horse doesn’t wait. It charges. Faster, sharper, with purpose.

This design draws from a mythical Japanese spirit of the Kirin. Calm on the surface. Relentless underneath. Exactly the way a fighter must remain with cool heart (jai yen in thai)

That’s the energy this year.

Cool headed, Cool Hearted and Always Forward!

Cooked up a shoot with @brendanmainini

At Rise Combat Sports - we are off to fast start in 2026. It’s amazing to see our team be the most complete ever, from staff to students we have a lot of contributors, creators, and people pushing each other to be better. Every place has its ebbs and flows, and I can honestly say this is the best version I’ve seen since I’ve joined the team back in 2019.

Truly appreciate a professional photographer and Muay Thai practitioner like Brendan who gifted us with his time with a full day of shooting and editing. These experiences allow for our team to get comfortable in front of the lens and also show off their personalities in doing it. I was also happy to take advantage of getting a few pics to capture the start of the year.
