Collapsable basket for @carryingloud.mdw as a part of Melbourne Design Week

Based off Malay/Indonesian food covers this object is designed as a packable carrying system for everyday items.

@vincent.fabrications made a lot of this possible, sewing everything, helping me bring everything together as 1 piece.

Thankyou @nysa.rohatgi and @alpakagear for the awesome opportunity 😁 by @tykeim_

@tykeim_ studies industrial design at RMIT and contributes to the design team at @boomstudios. His work moves across purpose-driven design, fashion, and sculpture, centred on objects that relate to and interact with the human form. Drawing on Malay heritage alongside industrial aesthetics, Tyke explores the dialogue between cultural memory and contemporary making.
