Communal Creativity: A Game of Poetry. (See link in bio for game project.)
A Twine project I developed for my Honors Project and published on itch.io.
I hope to see people play this game and discover the ways in which they can use language. Especially with other people.

Join us this coming Wednesday, September 16, when we’re delighted that Tylyn K. Johnson, awesome poet and NIGHTJAR regular, will be our feature! Open mic prompt: Write a poem about how you fall in love with yourself; how you court yourself; how you keep you. Tylyn adds, Write several. Read them back to yourself, again and again.
.
At the Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis, aka the Tube, doors at 6:30, reading at 7.

Tylyn K. Johnson (they/he) is a floating writer from Naptown, IN, US. They write to reflect a complex love through the framed lenses of Black Queer artistry. Their language has appeared in numerous spaces, including Lolwe, just femme and dandy, Toyon Literary Magazine, and Dogwood Alchemy, with more work forthcoming. A lover of all creativities, he’s recently been dipping his quill into the visual arts. And of course, Tylyn loves being a fan of their city’s poetry and arts scene. Follow their work at the link in their bio. by @tykywrites

To Create New Avenues
is to realize
“We must create the better world they once told us wasn’t possible.”

And still, they lie and name it impossible.
They will lie, forever and always.
So we must move accordingly.
