It’s my birthday! Also the 1st day of Black History Month!🫶🏾 🥳 ✊🏾

This year, I am celebrating walking in answered prayers.

I am deeply honored that Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson personally selected and trusted me to give voice to a small part of her story. This version is adapted for a YA audience. You can hear me voice her younger self at the end of the memoir.

Huge thank you to @prhaudio 🫶🏾 by @tyla_collier

It’s been a little over a month since I adopted Theo; the sweetest soul I’ve ever known! The love & joy he’s brought me has been the greatest gift.🥺🫶🏾

Huge thank you to @flydogz_pr + @flydogzpr_adopt for connecting me with my sweet Sato, who I now can’t imagine life without! If you are ever flying out of Puerto Rico, please consider volunteering to transport a dog back with you! It’s completely free and you’ll be helping connect them with their forever families.🫶🏾

Excited to share that Listen to the Girls by @chrystaldgiles won a @kirkusaudiobookreviews Earphones Award! This book is powerful, poignant, and expertly written to start discussions on an important issue at a middle grade level. It’s truly an honor when I get to narrate a book that reminds me that the work I do is bigger than me. I hope you’ll listen and/or read this with the young people in your lives🫶🏾

Big thank you to @amcita + @prhaudio + @kirkusaudiobookreviews + my director, Kiki Turner!🙏🏾 ✨ by @tyla_collier

Happy release day to Between Me and You!
I am deeply grateful to have been brought on board for this project. What a joy it was to voice Joey; the couple’s 5 year old son!

Huge thank you to the wonderful @sara.pagyogi and @audible + @simpsonstreet for bringing me on, @loganvaughn30 for being such an amazing director, @aswinn and @peterchiarelli for writing this beautifully raw story, and to @simpsonstreet for the swag. It’s not reflected in the photo, but I bedazzled my hat as soon as it arrived! 😆🫶🏾

And s/o to @kalynecoleman for capturing the moment I wrapped. 🥰 by @tyla_collier

The Keena Ford series made the 2025 ALSC (Association for Library Service to Children) Notable Children’s Recordings list! As a kid who spent many nights reading under the covers past my bedtime, I am so grateful to have it be recognized in this way. I would have loved to read a series like this growing up!

Swipe to read about the list, and to read the review. Huge thank you to @prhaudio !🥰 by @tyla_collier
