#TNMChoreography: April 16, 2026: Ladies and Gentlemen, I’m proud to present you one of my most challenging works as a choreographer, “Mission Impossible”. This is a tiny step toward the mindset I’d like to put myself in for my culminating project, and I’m so happy to share the process with you 🫂🖤

#TNMPics: “Mission Impossible” by Tyreana Handley is a fierce, thematic jazz piece inspired by the strength and precision of the Black Widow. With sharp transitions and dynamic shifts in and out of unison, the dancers take on a high stakes mission that demands endurance, resilience, and exact timing, proving that nothing is impossible.

Special thanks to my lovely dancers for bringing this piece alive. You are the visual. 🖤

Footage coming soon.

May 1, 2026: What a tough year. What a great way to end the academic season. I had the pleasure of winning the distinction in Graduate Teaching Assistant award and also the Graduate Student of the Year award voted on by the students of TWU Dance. It felt great to be seen, valued, loved, and overall appreciated for the contributions and community I try to establish not only in our department but in my life. It felt great to be characterized openly and accurately. It felt great to be reminded that through the struggles, turmoil, and fear of failure God will prevail…my spirit will be lifted…and I’ll succeed ten times harder.

Blessed to be entering into my third year of my MFA degree with genuine support and a newly developed mindset. 📚🥂 Cheers to Summer Break! taken in TWU - DGL (Dance and Gymnastics Laboratory) by @tynmotion
