Pumped on pump track racing!! Big thanks to @sabpumptrack and all the sponsors for a great series. Lots of fun, and some serious talent at the track. Cant wait for championship runs in September at the Okotoks pump track. Happy to qualify for finals with the big dogs, and it’s rad to see Jax having a blast too and finishing 2nd in the overall for under 6!

Tyler Paksi is a Calgary-born mountain bike lifer and Ridleys Cycle Ambassador with over 25 years on the bike. A two-time Provincial Downhill Champion, World Cup qualifier, and Canadian Enduro League pro, Tyler now channels his passion into building the community he loves. As a PMBIA-certified coach with YYCMTB, the creator of the Moose Mountain Kids Fest, and former Race Director of the MMBTS Fiver Series. Most recently, Tyler was a featured rider in Strain, a mountain bike film with The Flannel Crewcelebrating Calgary’s local riding culture, with more film projects on the horizon. Out for a quick lap with Rocky dog out at @mmbtsinfo . Testing out the new @schwalbe_mtb Albert Radial tires. So far, they get a pass. Roll fast, hook into corners nicely and all around felt pretty good! Cant wait to push them a bit harder to see how they really perform under pressure. Thanks again to @ridleyscycle for the fresh boots!

New goodies from @ridleyscycle! Fresh new tech in @schwalbetires with their new radial line, eliminates the need for inserts, while providing great traction and flat control! Excited to try these out. Putting them on was a breeze with my new @trekbikes pocket sized electric pump, and tubeless sealant from @mucoff. Time to shred! by @tyonabike

Big thanks to @mmbtsinfo and all the volunteers for continuing the kids fest vision this year. Super pumped to see all the little shredders out there today, and can’t wait to see them all as they build their skills over the years. Jax walked away with the win today, and got to see the top step of the podium for the 5 year olds! Great day, lots of fun all around. Bring on the summer!

Rodeo weekend! Little man hopped on for some mutton bustin, and we came home with a dog. Pretty wild weekend. (I did not ride a bull, no chance)

The first annual MMBTS Kids fest happened this weekend at Moose Mountain, and we had 100 kids shredding our favourite trails and many of them had the opportunity to participate in their first race!

Smiles all around, and tons of fun activities for all the little shredders who all put down some wicked laps and group rides, and with races happening on both Hotlaps and 7-27! We’re sorry about the timing mishaps for the 7-27 race, but we all still had a blast ripping with our future World Cup athletes! Our youngest competitor was only 3 years old, and he took home the win for our 3-6 year old riders!

We’d like to present our top finishers for the Hotlaps Race! Can’t wait to see you all next year!

New whip, who dis? Shined up, and protected by the studs at @spscalgary. Ceramic coating? Nah. Graphene, and PPF wraps will keep this looking fresh for years to come. Thanks @keenan_antaya and @thejoeyreinhart you guys rock. I can even groom my mustache in the reflection. by @tyonabike
