My favorite person, my answered prayer. Once, I dreamed of being someone’s forever. Now, I get to spend eternity with you. đŸ€ by @tyyra
A dream. A dream of living in a world where I can be loved for all of who I am. A dream of someone finding me, and loving the parts of me I never believed could be loved. A dream that one day I will be someone’s forever. And a dream, I never thought I would ever live. But everyday waking up next to you, you’ve shown me that dream has been my reality. For a year, I have been loved by you. I have been cared for by you, I have been protected by you. I have traveled to Brasil, and have been welcomed and loved by your family. You have shown me what unconditional love is, and that I am deserving of it. Through the struggles of loving myself, you have shown me the beauty in loving me. Thank you. Thank you for being my biggest supporter. Thank you for all the kisses, laughs, tears, memories, the long talks, the dates, and for being my person. And thank you for making me your forever. Happy one year, one of eternity together. by @tyyra

And finally, you never responded to my last message And I never sent one again I wonder if my words will ever reach you We disappeared from each other’s lives There is a part of me that still longs for an answer, But now I see there’s no reason for me to ask Because when I look back at the moments we’ve shared The answer was in every detail From the control and pressure you placed on me to become someone who I was never meant to be From wanting me to cover up my body, while you stayed looking at her naked skin. From the way you called me damaged, and tried to change the meaning behind it when we both knew what you were truly trying to say. How was I so blind then? In those moments I didn’t know what I wanted I thought I wanted you but deep down I knew it wasn’t right I knew you would never be mine But when I closed my eyes, I imagined how beautiful life would be if we were together The world would pause, and everything would feel just right Do sweet imaginations always turn into bitter delusions? That is when reality tapped me on the shoulder. And I opened my eyes to the reasons that separated us. I wanted to tell world the reasons, tell them about all the pain you had put me through. But what good would that do when we live in two different worlds? A world where I wanted to be loved for who I am, and a world where you used all of that against me. Now I know. Some stories are to be remained untold. Through my painful days of being with you, brought me days of healing without you. By letting you go, I finally chose myself. I wish you nothing but the best, And I pray that we never cross paths again. -another letter I’ll never send by @tyyra

Yesterday was my birthday, and to be honest I didn’t plan to take photos nor post about it. I didn’t see the importance of celebrating my birthday, and in a way felt that it wasn’t worthy of being known. However with chapter 22 of my life now closed, and with the words from my beautiful family and friends, I’ve realized that it is worth celebrating. In this year alone I’ve accomplished things I never thought I was ever capable of. I’ve grown closer with those around me and with God. Most importantly, I have grown closer with myself. I’ve made mistakes, made bad choices but I’m learning from them. I’ve travelled to another country, got to capture beautiful weddings and portraits more than I ever have in my photography career, and so much more. As the notorious song goes, “Everyday above ground is a blessing”. Thank you chapter 22, for the good and the bad. The lessons and the blessings. Here’s to chapter 23â€ŠđŸ„‚âœšĂ€ bientĂŽt Vogue... by @tyyra
