"Never out of fear, everything with love"

"Nunca por temor, todo con amor"

Sometimes I think about this when I'm spiraling down an intrusive thought freefall.

📍 Topilejo – Avenida El Cantil esquina Cruz Blanca
🗓️ Viernes 21 de noviembre
⏰ 18:00 hrs

📍 Parque Juana de Asbaje, Centro de Tlalpan
🗓️ Sábado 22 de noviembre
⏰ 18:00 hrs

Ven y acompañanos, invita a tu familia, compás y vecinos.

I've been working on a really special project with @emilyaordaz & @penelopepeonies This has been a months long collaboration that has seen so many changes and finally has a home as an online archive. Behind the Photo is a Youth-Led project that for the past year engaged with the East LA community through free photography pop-ups. Now an ever growing archive that not only provides people with free photos but also a safe space to share memories and reflections.

I have been thinking about the accessibility of art. AI. Borders. Capitalism has got us operating in scarcity.

What if my art was transformed, copied, iterated, and that transformation granted me fullness and security in the collective creativity of everyone. What if we valued art as an essential and renewable resource. To be gifted. Unsellable.

Aquí en mi pensar no hay fronteras.
Aquí en mi amor no hay fronteras.
Aqui en mi creación no hay fronteras.
