HOTEL UPDATE NO.3

The large works for the corridors are in, now it’s time to co-ordinate each piece.

Different mediums, colour palettes, indigenous & non-indigenous… getting the curation ‘right’ is a must ! by @ubucher2

As you can see, the studio & gallery shop are being taken over by this project 🤣.

Not that I’m complaining, I’m thrilled to be putting such a large body of amazing art together… local art, by local artists, every piece has a story and will be available for purchase when the Best Western reopens… or simply there, throughout the hotel, for guests to enjoy.

Not only this, it’s been a lovely reconnection with @laraseresinartist , @suedowlingphotography @nickimagery_ , @george_hall_art , @tommy_friday_art , @duckprint_fine_art_editions , @ubucher2 , @heather_art465 …

And I’d like to extend thanks to @ubucher2 for shooting @laraseresinartist paintings, so we can showcase Lara’s beautiful work in numerous rooms in the hotel. Very much appreciated Udo 🙌

I’m so enjoying this project. The coming together with artists we’ve had exhibit at our gallery, and connecting with Tom @duckprint_fine_art_editions who has an exceptional number of artists he’s able to show, it’s becoming quite a composition.
I look forward to sharing it with you along the way. by @ubucher2
