Although summer was fun, being back as a team on Lake Pickett the past few weeks has shown how passionate this group is about what we get to do together. Looking forward to a great fall! #GKCO ⚔️ taken in Lake Pickett by @ucf.rowing

Leading the Charge. ⚔️
In Episode 3 of Under the Palms, we highlight two former Knights who are now helping shape the next generation of UCF student-athletes — Katy Ling, former UCF Women’s Soccer player, and Lauren Roman, former UCF rower.

Joined by their head coaches, @maraallencoach and @trsahaydak, Katy and Lauren share what it means to return to UCF as leaders, the unique impact of having alumni on staff, and the continued growth and strength of women’s sports at UCF.

From representing on the field and water to leading the next generation, their journeys are a reminder that being a Knight doesn’t end when your playing days do.
