There are some new faces here so it's time to introduce myself again 👋 Hi! I'm Krista, the maker behind Ud Form. I'm a one-woman show, and as such, maybe a little bit of a control freak - classic virgo. I operate best in organized chaos, and I always like to have a new project on the horizon.

I've been making lamp shades for over a decade now, but I only took my business full time in 2020. It started out as an idea for three wooden lamps (I was originally Ud Lamps). I expanded the line and rebranded to Ud Form when I took up candle making during the pandemic. Since then, I've added tassels, greenery, art, and vintage finds. I hope to add even more items in the next few years.

I live in beautiful Madison, Wisconsin with my husband and son. We like to try new restaurants, go to Forward games, the farmer's market, and best of all: lounge around in cozy soft pants (as my son, Owen, calls them) eating popcorn and watching a movie.

Hm, what else should you know about me? My favorite color is anything neutral, favorite meal is pasta, favorite dinosaur is brachiosaurus, and favorite season is summer. Oh yeah, and my favorite fragrance is a tie between vanilla and amber. I know that all may sound pretty boring, but that's ok. Every time I tell someone, 'I make lamp shades', I get the strangest looks, and I am quickly reminded that I'm not *too* boring 🤣 by @ud.form

A very very big thank you to everyone who came to the @mmoca Art Market this weekend! I loved talking with everyone, learning new things, and maybe even making some new friends.

I'm wrapping up the weekend reflecting on how much love I'm surrounded by, and feeling so much gratitude toward my friends, family, and strangers who support me in my adventures. My words don't do the feeling justice.

I tried to leave only a couple things on my do-list for the last couple days before the @mmocamadison Art Market.

These last couple things truly are the icing on the cake, though. I love the richness that walnut wood brings to a space, and I can't wait to see this in my booth this weekend!
