I make bags from fabric. Wool, flax, hemp, cotton — whatever feels substantial and high-quality in the hand. Fluffy-soft or plasticky and I’m out. I use natural materials because they feel alive. Synthetic ones don’t. I make the same bag in different materials. Each choice creates its own character. I develop every pattern myself, because I have a detailed user experience in mind. The character, on the other hand, only emerges in the sewing, through the material. Copying would be a shortcut that would ruin both. My workshop is a converted guest room. Small, tidy, every tool in its place, the fabrics leaning against the wall. It smells of wood from the loft I built so guests still have somewhere to sleep. While I work, I listen to the same radio plays from my childhood — the same episodes, again and again. I left car design so I’d never have a boss above me again. On the journey to finally launch on Saturday, I want to send some love to Argentina 🇦🇷 and @ufficio.studio who helped bring the Geist brand to life. It was a joy working with you! "German Romanticism believed objects could hold what words cannot. Japanese Ma says that emptiness is not absence, but potential. Neither Germany nor Japan do things for the sake of appearance. Both cultures demand that every decision earns its place. Precision, restraint, elimination of the unnecessary. Not as style, but as ethics. Geist mixes both obsessions." NAPOLI. 35 mm. Negative Film En diciembre viajamos a Barcelona para la inauguración del rebranding de Niceshit. Aprovechando la cercanía, nos fuimos a Italia. Desde que existe Ufficio, Italia aparece una y otra vez en nuestras referencias. En el diseño, en la arquitectura, en la gráfica, y también en nuestras propias raíces. Fuimos a Nápoli y nunca nos sentimos tan en casa: ruido, autos en triple fila, fachadas descascaradas, ropa colgada, altares improvisados, El Diego presente en todos lados, cafés tomados de pie, y la sensación de que nada está intentando gustar. No vimos cafés de especialidad ni experiencias curadas. Pasamos los días tomando pequeños espressos, caminando sin rumbo y comiendo pizzas enteras. Hay ciudades que construyen una imagen de sí mismas. Nápoles parece hacer exactamente lo contrario. Hay algo profundamente hermoso en una ciudad que todavía confía en sus propias reglas. Fuimos en tren a Pompeya y subimos al Vesubio. Siempre nos fascinaron los volcanes: su belleza, su amenaza, su capacidad de recordarnos que todo lo que parece permanente puede desaparecer en un instante. by @ufficio.studio

Welcome to the new Niceshit. Our handwriting. Our voice. Our new identity. As we reach our 10th anniversary, this rebrand comes as a celebration of who we are and where we are going. We partnered with our friends at @ufficio.studio who were behind this extreme makeover that includes a whole new look, website, merch and our own custom font: the Niceshit Non-Regular. Being around for over a decade, it felt like a turning point and the right moment to own who we are, more fully. The work had grown, the trust was there, and the studio had entered a new stage, but the brand hadn’t quite caught up. The rebrand is here to close that gap and build a language that feels closer to how we actually think and create today. As put by Ufficio: “With a solid track record and a reputation built on trust, quality, and professionalism, the brand needed to evolve to support a new stage of growth without losing its irreverent and human spirit. The system balances both sides of what they are: the spontaneity of the sketch and the precision of the final outcome” The Niceshit Non-Regular, our very own custom font is the star of this new phase - it is our voice - and we will share more on this in the next posts. This new chapter is about embracing the boldness, the humor, even the name itself, but from a more grounded, confident place. One shaped by years of doing the work. It’s not a reinvention, it’s an alignment. Bringing together the ideas and the craft, the characters and the edge, into something that represents what Niceshit is today. Who hasn’t dreamed of having their own font? When we presented the idea to @niceshitstudio , we were honest: this was going to fulfill their dream. And ours 😏. From that moment on we entered the unknown: our first time designing a typeface, and doing it in the most unorthodox way. No moodboards, no style expectations... just their handwritten alphabets as raw material. We took their gestures and built a system that holds all three at once: every character in three variables, one per founder. We let the concept guide every decision, trusting that starting from something genuinely theirs would make everything else follow. The result is the Niceshit Non-Regular. This one has been living in our 💙 for a while, so happy it’s finally out in the world! At their 10th anniversary, Niceshit came to us wanting to evolve their identity without losing what defines them. We spent months working on something we’re very proud of: a rebrand built around a custom typeface drawn from the handwriting of all three founders, a new website, and a full brand system. Packaging y Fotografía para @figliopremium Tandil, 2025 La Marca en relación al producto. En paralelo al desarrollo del local diseñamos y produjimos todas las aplicaciones impresas. El packaging de Figlio llevó más de un año de desarrollo. Vasos de helado, cajas de bombones, macarons y chocolates. Menú, bolsas, servilletas. Cada pieza dentro del sistema expresa en distinta escala y momento la experiencia de marca. En equipo con nuestros proveedores, propusimos y cuidamos cada decisión material. Gofrados, cuños y bronces transmitieron la impronta de la marca desde el detalle. Finalmente, trabajamos en la dirección de arte y viajamos a Tandil para la producción de fotos de producto junto a @dagurke Dolcezza única. Pueden visitar el caso completo en nuestra web.
