This Sunday, 13th September 2026 πŸ“‘ @hackneydubclub πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ is back with a very special guest β€” a true heavyweight and one of the key promoters of reggae culture in the UK and beyond. πŸ†

@peckingsrecordshop was established in 1974 by G.P. Peckings, who came to London in 1960 and became the sole UK distributor for Studio One.

His legacy was carried forward by @dukepeckings, who founded the Peckings label and, alongside his brother Chris, built one of the most respected reggae production outfits around. πŸ’½

This Sunday, @dukepeckings takes over Hackney Dub Club with his original selection β€” digging deep into the music, the sounds and the records that shaped the Peckings legacy.

We can’t wait to hear what he brings to the table. πŸ”₯

And this is just the warm-up…

Doc Murdoc spent many years working alongside the great legend Jah Shaka, as part of his sound system crew, and also produced several dubplates.

Still actively selecting today, Doc Murdoc continues to bring his unique style, deep reggae knowledge and positive vibes to London and across Europe, keeping the sound system spirit alive wherever he plays.
