✨The UK Black Chefs Network exists to make our food, stories, and culture visible within the hospitality industry — to remind the world that our cuisine is not a trend, but a legacy.Saturday 18th October , the @southern_soul.official dining experience at @parksedgebarandkitchen brought his vision to life. @ukblackchefsnetwork had the pleasure of being part of a truly special event at @binghamriverhouse — a beautiful Black woman-owned boutique hotel, bar and restaurant.Hosted for the @blackfeministfund , the event was catered by @the_futureplate and @chishuru , with the kitchen led by our very own Michelin-starred Chef @jokebakare . Guests enjoyed incredible canapés by @chef_opy , followed by a thoughtfully curated three-course West African fine dining menu.It was an amazing experience working alongside such a talented team of chefs. We collaborated seamlessly, shared knowledge, discovered new West African flavours and techniques, and created something truly memorable together.Opportunities like this are a reminder of the power of representation, collaboration and excellence within our industry. @aussiebeefandlambuk Masterclass at @loscarlondon ✨🥩🍷A fantastic hospitality networking event — because the best way to connect is over exceptional food and wine.The room was filled with some of the industry’s finest: top chefs, leading brands, restauranteurs, wholesalers, and CEOs. A real gathering of influential people who share a passion for hospitality and great food.The masterclass was not only a great networking opportunity, but also a chance to learn more about the different cuts of Wagyu. The four-course menu was outstanding, but that carpaccio… wow. It literally melted on my tongue. I had the pleasure of being one of the judges for this year’s @beinclusivehospitality spotlight Awards, which will be held at @quaglinos in Mayfair this October.The standard of nominations this year was incredibly high, and my judging team had some tough decisions to make. With more than 20 nominations across several of our categories, narrowing them down was no easy task.It was great to be in the room, contributing to the discussions and making sure every nominee received the consideration they deserved.
