We’ve extended our Getting to work survey deadline 📌
You now have until 5pm on Monday 19 October.

Would you take a job you can’t get to?

Too many young people say no to work every year. Not because they don’t want to work, but because the journey makes it impossible.

One in eight young people aged 16 to 24 in the UK are not in education, employment or training. Transport is a significant practical barrier, particularly for those without a driving licence or car, and for those in rural areas.

The Transport Committee is looking at how transport affects young people’s access to work and training, and what can be done to make things better.

Thank you to everyone who has already taken part. If you haven’t yet, tell us what your journey to work looks like. Link in bio. by @ukcommonscommittees

We're launching an inquiry to explore the barriers and incentives to starting a business. We want to know what the Government can do to make the UK the best place to start a business.

Link in bio. What's stopping you from bringing that business idea to life? We want to know.
