Thanks to @celine_cardineau for putting together this clip from the UKG 514 event that happened last Thursday at Barbossa in Montreal. All the DJs brought high energy sets transforming the club into a bouncy castle of bass. I love performing in this space, the back corner on the dance floor is the perfect place to create. Can’t wait for my next chance to art dance 🕺🏼

DJ SHOWCASE:
Montreal-based DJ & producer RobinHood is a local dj and event producer whose mission is create immersive sound journeys through UKG & bass music. Inspired by legends such as sammy virji and MPH, his sets feature melodic elements as well as deep gritty basslines that flow from track to track

Rooted in sound system culture, his journey began with grassroots organizing, throwing free renegade raves under downtown overpasses and carving out space for raw, community-driven dance floors. Founder of UKGarage takeover events, Robinhood is actively planting seeds in the local scene to grow a community & culture around UK bass music. Whether in warehouses, outdoor pop-ups, or club systems, his selections balance weight, groove, and precision, always focused on movement, low-end pressure, and shared experience.

DJ SHOWCASE:
Krinjah is a Toronto-based DJ/producer with jungle roots and a current production focus bridging classic jungle with modern drum & bass. He came up through the Montreal scene and played extensively across Canada, the US, and Europe during the 2000s, ranging from Portugal to Poland—and as far as Siberia. After that run, he took a long step back to focus on university and academic research with music production on the back burner.
Now active again, Krinjah is returning with a simple intention: write current, dancefloor-ready 174 BPM music and deliver reliable DJ sets that keep both jungle and DnB crowds moving. His sound is built on break-driven jungle, but he’s increasingly writing with contemporary drum & bass structure, sound design, and low-end impact.
In 2026, the goal is steady releases and more original-artist collaborations

DJ SHOWCASE:
Raised on the South Shore of Montreal, Nicolas Clément, performing as UNSEEN, has been addicted to sound from a young age. Starting at just 12 years old, he taught himself to DJ on small computer speakers, matching tracks and learning from the heavy, raw energy of legends like Cookie Monsta.
Through the years, Nicolas explored the full EDM spectrum, developing a deep instinct for how music moves a room. Today, as UNSEEN, he curates and produces with a focused purpose...exposing the invisible forces and hidden power that shape our world. Stripping away artificial hype to leave pure weight and heavy tension, UNSEEN is a direct outlet to let the music speak for societal rage and bring the unknown to the surface.
