Binnenkort open: 'Cadzand Air'.

our summer residency in @sabatomagazine 🖤

we’ve been talking about this project for years
the frustration of working in art worlds that don’t always align with our values, the desire to create something slower, more research-led, and definitely artists oriented

a ten-day residency at the belgian/dutch border

six international artists working together around memory, cultural heritage and transmission - not just producing, but thinking, exchanging, living in the same space

our artists are wonderful, a description of their practices will be online in another article end of july!!

@orfeot
@electrasimon
@mehdi_gorbz
@norbertospina
@kemil.bektesi
@bethmcalester

the artists will take the 2 weeks residency to create and then last weekend is the public parcours d’artistes

it will be open to the public from friday 14 to sunday 16 august 2026 across different locations in knokke, retranchement and cadzand-bad

you can find all needed information on our website www.cadzandair.com link in bio

grateful to @mariehocepied_recto & @woutermaeckelberghe for spending this time with us by @ul2ru

@lawrenceabuhamdan at @labiennale

a year ago in belgrade serbia, 300 000 people stood in silence, an hommage to people killed in novi sad. that day a sonic weapon was used by the government to hurt its citizens, an invisible weapon. since then hundreds of protests, led by citizens and students, against the oppressive government. they are still refuting this accusation

lawrence abu hamdan has done an incredible installation and research on the weaponization of sound at @fondazioneinbetweenartfilm
