Recently I attended the screening of “Shaking Not Stirred “ a deeply moving documentary produced, directed, written and featured in by my beautiful and incredibly talented friend @carol_ferrone 🥰 held at Parliament House.

The documentary follows her brother-in-law’s journey living with Parkinson’s disease. Its powerful mission is to spread awareness about Parkinson’s, foster deeper community understanding and raise vital funds for research.

Congratulations Carol on creating such a strong, touching and powerful documentary. I am so proud of you 💐❤️

After brunch at @cookandco_auburn we headed over to @gimasupermarket for tasting Turkish treats and learning about Turkish flavours, then headed over to the Turkish butcher @efebutchery for a fantastic demo by @lordof_theefe 🙂

Endless tea, fresh Turkish bread and the best company ! Remembering this incredible Turkish brunch spread that everyone absolutely loved.

Big shoutout to the lovely couple who joined us for their third safari tour with me 🥰🥰 it was so lovely to see them again!

My pileli börek which translates to pleated börek in Turkish is so easy to make.
I used @antonioufillopastry @sutdiyari_com cheese from @nimcofoods this cheese is so delicious 😋 perfect for böreks, baking,
salads, cheese board or just on its own. Soo good !

A few Sundays ago, we went to Ali Abi and Inci’s house for brunch, and they treated us to homemade Turkish lahmacun and Pide !

Everything was absolutely delicious, especially since it was cooked in the amazing pizza oven that Ali Abi built himself.

Had dinner at @kurumba.syd in Surry Hills a while ago and it was delicious. The attention to detail with their food was amazing - every dish was beautifully put together and packed with flavour.

We paired everything with some of their yummy mocktails, which was the perfect combination.

Definitely need to go back soon.

Had the pleasure of hosting a private Gourmet Safaris Turkish brunch yesterday with these lovely ladies.

We started our day with an incredible feast at @cookandco_auburn with Turkish tea and amazing food 😋 so delicious!

We later headed over to @gimasupermarket for food tasting of delicious Turkish treats. We finished off our culinary adventure by popping into @efebutchery to end the perfect afternoon. So good 😊

Last Friday night’s @mycharityrunway with a purpose was held @doltonehouse

@mycharityrunway drew a massive crowd, and the energy at the venue was incredible.

Legendary New York designer @nicolemillernyc with her archival collection made her first ever Australian runway appearance.

Seeing her iconic archive share the stage with incredible Australian designers was spectacular.

Every single step down the runway was driven by pure purpose. Beautiful fashion is great, but fashion that changes lives is unmatched.

A huge congratulations to everyone involved in putting this spectacular night together and to my incredibly talented friends @stephies_storytime and @chantelrahme 💐💐❤️❤️
