Project @palazzosangottardo | Palazzo San Gottardo A Radisson Collection Hotel by @gbh_collection

LOBBY AND BISTROT
Overlooking Piazza Volta, amongst bars and historic buildings, the hotel’s entrance opens out onto the city. Warm woods and velvets, in shades ranging from earth tones to dark brown, create a setting that feels both elegant and informal. More than a decorative element, folding screens and fabric - a reference to Como’s historic links with the Silk Road and its role as a centre of commercial and cultural exchange - become a form of soft architecture.

After almost 40 years Palazzo San Gottardo reopens in Como and we’re very pleased to have shaped its interiors.

GUEST ROOM
An intimate atmosphere welcomes nowadays guests of the 5-star hotel. Colours are inspired by the lake. The green of its waters blends with warm materials and soft fabrics. Folding screens are architectural elements capable of absorbing sound, diffusing light and lending spaces a homey feel.

Reopened in 2026 - a century after its first inauguration in 1926 - Palazzo San Gottardo is a city heritage we are honoured to have deal with.

GRAZIE. Thank you all!

Fine Comune has involved people, conversations and objects from various fields. Those you can imagine and those we didn’t know until everything become real. Sixteen days made of daily visitors, evening events, artistic workshops for kids and new connections: “borders as meeting point” was real.

Atto Puro - Sound installation and immersive experience

A musical journey. Objects that make sounds and others that remind us of the perpetual motion of the cosmos. Is this a kind of eternity outside of time?

Atto Puro involves the electronic music department of the Como Conservatory and the Cosmos audio system designed by Ultrapresent Studio.
TerraSole rug by Malcusa - designed by Virginia Arlotto - and Dresswall surfaces complete this ethereal space.

An evocative setting for a unique sound installation awaits you in the organ hall.

A former church is transformed into a transitional space for people to meet and interact.

Sketching a new temporary exhibition.

Fine Comune is about to start, involving international artists, designers and brands on the theme of boundaries.
A border is not a point of division but a point of contact: what happens if we stop thinking of it as a barrier and start seeing it as a common ground?

You, visitors, are welcome in the former church of Santa Caterina to enjoy a moment of meeting and reflection. You’ll be surrounded by pieces of art and design in a space conceived as an occasion to explore the concepts of limits and sharing.

First, a selection of monochromatic artworks in concrete and metal by artist Luca Monterastelli represented by @liarummagallery. Then, a selection of collectible design pieces represented by @movimentogallery, all around the perimeter of the nave. See and feel the comfort: handcrafted rugs by @cc_tapis and Free System upholstered sofa system by @acerbis_design create a welcoming place like the one that nomadic peoples are able to create wherever they go.

Casa BC sleeping area is a space with rich and intense tones, featuring functional objects on full display.

The interior design color scheme is bordeaux and green.

Past the hallway with its red hues, you enter the master bedroom, where the green leather headboard serves as a counterpoint to a wall covered in green fabric that leads to the walk-in closet.
The green of the original marble fireplace in the living area harmonizes with the predominant natural green tones in the sleeping area.

Moving from one room to another through original doors and door handles, you experience the pleasure of discovery and find yourself enveloped by an international aesthetic that reflects the clients’ passion for travel.

Casa BC is one of our firsts interior design projects.

The terrazzo flooring serves as the inspiration for the geometric patterns found throughout the home.
The entryway is enhanced by a pair of matching lacquered cabinets. In the spacious living area, the color palette is built around various shades of the same burgundy red.

Near the green marble fireplace, the living area converges toward the wall adorned with frames, decorated with the most elegant geometric patterns inherited from the original design.
