MAY 24TH 🎉 BDAY HANGOUT
📍Lincoln Park Waveland Picnic Field // 6:30pm

Open to anyone and everyone as long as youre not a piece of shit 🫶 bring ya good vibes and a swim suit if youre crazy like me and wanna jump in the lake or whatevaa

So i survived "the club"
Technically I still have 24 hrs to go but I think i made it? Grateful to have lived to see this day bc i didn't think i would!!

I have air in my lungs and eyes that see the beauty of earth and hands that play guitar and make sick tattoos and legs that just earned me $228 by biking doordash within my first 4 days lmaooo

Life is good. I stopped caring about approval from others. I dont tolerate anything that makes me feel small or like I need to hide. I want to live loudly and authentically. I wanna shine so bright that my past self would be scared at the person she chose to become.

And lastly I want to love myself without condition, because I deserve it!! by @ultravioletcanary

I'm positively OVERWHELMED by the flood of inquiries im recieving for this round of booking. I've had a very challenging summer and almost quit tattooing; which is literally my breath and blood. No joke. But Creator has a plan for each of us, i just needed to let go of doubt (poison) and negative self talk ❤️

I made up excuses for why I wasn't getting work and told myself maybe it's because I just don't belong. Maybe im avoiding a *real* job (i hate saying that). Maybe the universe wants me to do something else. Or maybe im actually a shit artist wasting mine and others' time with this blah blah blah...STOOOOOOPP!!!!!! .....I DO have a place in this ever-expanding industry. Especially as a handpoke artist, we all have our own special amd unique paths. No two rivers flow the same, so why should I compare myself when mother nature doesn't?!

What i needed to actually quit was the inner voice telling me to follow the herd and do what is popular or trendy. But I have always gravitated to the lesser known. Maybe its my curiosity, or stubbornness in refusing to conform. Either way, i am confident in being the only person in Chicago who offers what I offer; badass large-scale ornamental calligraphic handpoke with a Mexica flair🔥😆 be proud of yourselves darnit!!!

I have so much to progress, with many many more years of art / story telling through this medicine and profession.

P.S. if you didn't get picked this time, fret not! Ya girl will be booking again in 3 weeks. Stay tuned!

@nickthewilk is a guy who for the PEOPLE 🔥🔥🔥 His love for music is infectious and he makes everyone who walks through the doors of @uptownloungechicago on monday nights feel right at home. I have a huge thank you to give to Nick for the growth I've had over this past year when it comes to live performance. Uptown lounge became a sort of beacon to me. I knew that regardless of how I felt when I got on that stage, the atmosphere was set to recieve and celebrate me. That cannot be possible without great host who actually gives a damn 👏 please join us tomorrow night to enjoy a few hours of incredible local talent!!!

Joining me on stage is my lovely partner @ben_pavlik 🎸

Bring your friends & family 🤟 cant wait to see you there!

LIFE UPDATE!!! I wanted to say fuck you Memphis but I should be thanking the universe for plopping me into the absolute LAST place I ever thought I'd end up living, because as cliche as it is everything happens for a reason ❤️ sure, getting robbed wasnt fun. Like at all 🤪 but I've met the most wonderful and kind human beings that welcomed me with open arms and got me feeling like I kinda belonged somewhere. I also played my first music festival EVER in Memphis and really got my music off the ground and out of my demos folder while I lived there.
.
Most importantly, it got me back to where I was being called... beautiful Chicago, home! Thank you to everyone being so patient with me and for every angel who has donated clothes and shoes or helped in any way, I kinda took a break from social media for a minute. Im not worried about posting but instead trying to finalize moving into a new place. Rest assured, new music is coming and im still building my EP which will have about 6 or 7 songs on it...hehe.
.
.
Stay positive during dark times, and you'll be a lighthouse for others.

Pretend you're full
Living doll with dull colors
Selfishly look away
Tears of porcelain
Prettier than my textured skin
She overflows
I decompose
Velveteen, velveteen
Velveteen

Should I release this song??? 👇👇
