TOKYO MARATHON memories 🏅🌸.

Wow I can’t believe it’s been two weeks since the Tokyo marathon 🏃🏽‍♀️. This marathon truly was an amazing adventure.
.
Returning home and immediately starting my demanding job again was challenging. I’m still processing the amazing marathon adventure 🩷.

My coach @petrakerkhove helped me to bring out SuperVIO again🦸🏻‍♀️ 💪.
.
💜 I’m currently trying to take it easy and am really tired, but reliving all the @tokyomarathonfoundation memories 🏃🏽‍♀️🏅.

TOKYO MARATHON! 🏅🇯🇵. An amazing adventure! 🏃🏽‍♀️.
.
Yesterday truly felt like a dream! I’m so proud I was able to run my sixth marathon! Adding a fourth star to my @wmmajors .
Running in Tokyo was an experience I’ll always remember! @tokyomarathonfoundation .
.
My training process was challenging due to an injury, but my coach @petrakerkhove helped me a lot in getting stronger.
The temperatures were very high yesterday, which also made it an intense run.
But I did it, I’m so excited!

TOKYO MARATHON! I’m ready 🏃🏽‍♀️💪.
.
Wow it’s finally here! I can’t believe I’ll be running the @tokyomarathonfoundation tomorrow! After an intense training process and some medical setbacks I’m super proud to be standing here today. My amazing coach @petrakerkhove helped me tremendously, training for my sixth marathon! 🏅.
.
➡️ You can follow me on the Navi app by searching my bib number 33931 , the event will be available tomorrow. I’ll start my race at 9.15 local time 🇯🇵 , which will be 1.15 in the Netherlands 🇳🇱.

Running and exploring Kyoto and Osaka 🌸.
.
Wow it’s an amazing experience travelling through Japan 🇯🇵. We started our holiday in Osaka and went to Kyoto afterwards.
In Kyoto we experienced a once in a lifetime traditional tea ceremony in kimono 🍵👘 at @maikoya.kyoto 🩷. We went to the Fushimi Inari-taisha and enjoyed the thousand beautiful gates and shrines 🎎.
We arrived in Tokyo today by taking the Shinkansen 🚅🗻 and will visit the @tokyomarathonfoundation expo tomorrow! Soooo excited! 🏃🏽‍♀️🎉

It was my birthday 2 February and I have some awesome news: I’ll be running the Tokyo Marathon 2 March this year! 🏃🏽‍♀️🥳🎉.
This will be my sixth marathon and my fourth marathon @wmmajors ! I’m training with my awesome coach @petrakerkhove from @lopenmeteenlach .
I’ve had some setbacks in the training process, but I feel ready to run my next marathon in one month!
Super excited @tokyomarathonfoundation ! 💜

Rome Half Marathon 🏃🏽‍♀️💪🩷.
.
Wow the @romehalfmarathon was amazing! I used to live in Rome during my studies and perform research over here. Running through the eternal city really was a dream come true. More pictures of this amazing race will follow. Running together with my boyfriend, who used to live in Rome as well, also helped to make this a race to remember 💕.

Chicago Marathon 🦸🏻‍♀️, one year ago 🏃🏽‍♀️🏅. Wow I can’t believe it’s one year already. It was an amazing experience, running the @chimarathon , after going through severe shoulder surgery.
But with the help of my amazing coach @petrakerkhove I felt really strong 💪.
➡️ I’m planning amazing running adventures and will be running the @romehalfmarathon on Sunday. 🇮🇹.

Dam tot Damloop 16,1 kilometers 🏃🏽‍♀️🏅🎉. The @nndamtotdamloop is one of my favourite races of the year. Yesterday’s edition was a tough one, due to the intense weather 🥵.
But I’m super proud I made it 🦸🏻‍♀️💪, with team @lopenmeteenlach .

Hiking holidays 2/2 🥾⛰️
.
After the Balkan Trail, I continued my hiking journey and went to the Dolomites! ⛰️ The scenery was amazing and we hiked from Misurina to Moso, staying in lovely huts along the way. I even tried a via ferrata, klettersteigern in the mountains 💪. An amazing hiking experience, with my lovely friend and guide Lilly to help me along the way ❤️.

Hiking holidays 1/2 🥾⛰️

I’m home again after some amazing hikes this summer ☀️. The Balkan Trail was amazing! ❤️ Hiking the Peaks of the Balkans trail and exploring Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro 🥾. Amazing views, intense mountains and awesome people. Many thanks to @travelbase_ & @thebalkantrail for an awesome hiking experience 💪⛰️.

10 van Noordwijk! 🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏅.
My first 10km race since the Chicago marathon! 💜.

So happy to run 10km again! A beautiful course, alongside the beach. Super proud and happy to be racing again, after building up steady 💪.
