Shout out to @cubanpeteshull and their bouncer for getting us in the Halloween spirit and encouraging to take some pics! Put a smile on our faces 🎃

Mundane autumn series. Not everyday Is Pinterest worthy, I felt a bit sad we didn’t do major things for Halloween and I felt like I missed out since I don’t drink anymore or go out! Everyone’s schedules didn’t match up til the day before so we just went into town had something to eat and walked about 🍁💀👻🎃

I love going out and seeing who and what I can capture, today made me realise the importance and beauty of having people around you, people who will converse with you when you’re down, and walk with you in times of need. The art of being together 🙏🏼❤️

Coming soon, a short film,: This is Hull, shot by me. 🎥

With everything going on in the UK, and more specifically here in Hull my hometown, the rise of Reform and the hostility towards immigrants has genuinely made me sick.

I have so many friends who are immigrants, friends whose parents are immigrants, and grandparents of my own who immigrated here. Some of the best people I know come from different cultures, backgrounds and walks of life, and that’s something to be celebrated, not condemned.

This short film shines a light on the small businesses that make Hull what it is. The people who work hard, contribute to our communities and help keep this city going, often behind the scenes, whilst others storm our town centres calling for radical change.

But change against what? Against the very people who help make this city what it is? We are Hull. People from all over the world are Hull. THIS is Hull.

I wanted to make something that reminds people of that. To put a face to the businesses, the people and the communities that deserve to be seen, heard and celebrated.

Stay tuned for the full film. 🤍

Mixed emotions about this time of the year. My heart says yes to autumn, cosiness and christmas, but my winter depression says nooo 💔

Round 2 a hull royal 🏥 Been quiet this week, recovering from a little surgery 👀 probably the weirdest thing I’ve had done, seeing them scrape a layer off your eye isn’t for the weak 🤢 been nice to lay in darkness for a few days and just chill out though! Sometimes you need to remember the world keeps spinning even if you give yourself a break ❤️
