A celebration of colours, flavours, and creativity. 🌿 Fresh ingredients, bold contrasts, and a thoughtful touch in every detail. Where culinary tradition meets a modern expression. by @ummami_meltingpot
NOUS started with a simple idea: invite people to make something together before sharing a meal. On November 5, with @1010_lab and @thezellijist, we’ll create a collective artwork. Everyone will add to it, so we’ll have to wait until that evening to see how it turns out. Then we’ll sit down for dinner by @ummami_meltingpot , served on @beyt.ma tableware, and carry on getting to know the people we’ve just created with. Join us from 19:00 Les Rencontres × 1010 × The Zelligist Bookings through the link in bio. Vases in the 3rd picture by @fanny.lopez by @ummami_meltingpot
More is coming 💪 Editing by @rahimfilms by @ummami_meltingpot

Today, on World Food Day, we celebrate more than food. We celebrate its power to nourish, connect, and create opportunities. Around the world, millions of people still face hunger, reminding us of the importance of building more sustainable, inclusive, and equitable food systems. At Um Mami, we believe that food can also be a powerful tool for social inclusion, education, and empowerment. Through our culinary training programmes, we equip young people with professional skills, build their confidence, and open pathways to employment and entrepreneurship. Through our workshops, dining experiences, and collaborations with local cooperatives and producers, we promote sustainable food practices, celebrate Morocco’s rich culinary heritage, and strengthen connections within our communities. Founded by the Danish organisation @meltingpotfoundation and rooted in Morocco, Um Mami brings together culinary traditions, education, and social impact, working alongside chefs, farmers, cooperatives, artisans, and young people to create meaningful opportunities through food. This journey is made possible thanks to the support of @meltingpotfoundation , the Danish-Arab Partnership Programme (@dappdk ), the Embassy of Denmark in Morocco (@denmarkinmorocco ), and @planbornefonden . On this World Food Day, we celebrate everyone contributing to a future where food is not only a source of nourishment, but also a source of knowledge, dignity, and opportunity. Because we believe that every skill learned, every tradition preserved, and every opportunity created can make a difference. Food can nourish. Food can connect. Food can build futures. This October, we’re celebrating the season by learning how to make it last. As part of the Harvest Festival, Um Mami and @global_diversity Foundation invite you to an Apple Preservation Workshop exploring preservation and fermentation through simple, practical techniques inspired by Morocco’s autumn harvest. The morning will also open a conversation around seasonality, biodiversity and responsible food practices, before ending around the table with a seasonal sharing-style lunch prepared by the Um Mami team. 31 October 2026 10:00 AM Um Mami by Melting Pot 495 MAD per person Book your spot via the link in bio and join us for a morning of learning, tasting and sharing. by @ummami_meltingpot
