It’s prob been 20 years since @sorcerza @beerbrains and myself met, skateboarding with different crews from different towns.

Coincidently, we got the old bike bug. So it’s pretty sweet 20 years later we’re scootin around the Rockies together on old hogs we brought back to life. Oh my lawddd!

What a rad weekend. Got to hang with a bunch of old friends, new friends, and my fam joined the fun too. Thanks for a solid event Chris and @pickleprincess666 , and thanks Kurtz for offering to bring the hogs out to Denver. #shovelhead #coloradoclambake taken in Denver, Colorado by @unclebuckss

1976 Shovelhead is DONE! The last month has been a grind. Up all night, wake up at 5am to work on this, work day job, and repeat. This bike was originally from PA and I bought it in Denver from @sorcerza in 2020. Brought it to CA, moved back to PA, and now it will be back in Denver for Colorado Clambake in 2 weeks.

Learned to tig and braze along with using lil mini lathe to turn down lowers, spacers and bushings. Went out of my comfort zone with fabrication and paint. Most parts were rebuilt at least twice. The $30 Ryobi grinder lasted two choppers and was prob my most used tool. All the original chrome was stripped and sanded/hand polished. I did most of this bike myself out of pure curiosity to learn more with help from friends on bottom end and other machining work (Steve @ S&J in Santa Rosa, @pafresh , @jaysigafoos Dad).

@oldnippletwister laced the rear wheel and seat is from @river.seat.company and fits the bike perfect. @cycle_fiend made the shifter. Thanks to all my buddies for help, advice, and listening to me stress out these last few weeks @kbuck1540 @hevyvan @beerbrains @ezwet @sorcerza #shovelheadchopper #shovelhead by @unclebuckss

Super thankful this garage is finished to keep me busy during winter. Making a bunch of progress on the bike to get it ready for @sorcerza ‘s Colorado Clambake in July! 🙃 by @unclebuckss

22 years goes by quick! This was from @steadyeatingandy second video “Kill the Filmer.” Being a little skate rat and having no clue about life, I was lucky to meet a crew of older heads willing to drive me around to film these videos. I met lifelong friends during these days and we all still find time to hang today. Forever grateful for everyone keeping me in check, guiding me through life, and teaching me the many reasons we keep on pushing. Skateboarding brings together people of all ages, communities, and lifestyles to find a common ground. It not only takes you places further than the field boundaries of organized sports, but completely reconditions your mindset and awareness of every area you explore or individual you meet. Places your board brings you to that you’d otherwise not step foot in now becomes normalized and comfortable. That is until you get a ticket for trespassing cause piggies need to have their fun too 😉. Thanks for good times and happy 22 @homebase610 by @unclebuckss

Finding time to work on bikes lately. Hardtailed and cleaned out the junk in the neck of this Shovelhead frame and super happy with the turnout! #shovelheadchopper by @unclebuckss
