@chefkwill brought The Proppa Suppa to @theanchorspa for an intimate dinner featuring selections inspired by his cookbook, and every course was a full 5 forks from me. 🍴🍴🍴🍴🍴

The menu using spices from @burlapandbarrel:
Likkle Ting — Jamaican pumpkin soup
Warm Ting — mackerel rundown with toasted hardo bread
Cold Ting — chayote & apple salad with ginger vinaigrette and fresh herbs
Main Ting — jerk duck breast with sorrel gastrique, long bean, and white yam succotash
Sweet Ting — guava cheesecake with ginger snap crust and @unclewaithleys and @tentoonerum ginger glaze

The food was incredible, but honestly, the people at the table made the night even better. It felt intimate, intentional, and completely different from a typical night out.

And Chef Kwame has already agreed to come back, now we just have to let him know New Haven wants another one.

Getting to production day is rarely simple. There are ingredients to source, shipments to coordinate, problems to solve and plenty of unexpected turns along the way. But we’ve always had a fighting spirit, and there’s nothing more satisfying than watching the line run smoothly and seeing bottle after bottle of Uncle Waithley’s come together!

It’s especially meaningful when we think about how far we’ve come: from making our first batches in the kitchen at @theanchorspa to producing tens of thousands of bottles ready to head back out into the world.

And we always remember that none of it happens without all of you, who continue to believe in us, support us and reach for Uncle Waithley’s on the shelf. We never take that for granted.

Orders are going out, and we’ll be back on shelves very soon. When you see us, grab a four-pack, share it, tag us, and keep letting the world know who's your favorite Ginger Beer!

The VIP Club Member Lounge at the @njjerkfest was 🔥🔥🔥

As you see it was spacious, came with its own seating so you didn't even need to bring a chair or blanket.

There were complementary beverages sponsored by @unclewaithleys & @drinkbaako
Food samples and fruit platters.
Also a cooking demo & sapling with @briscoeskitchenandspice__

Every step, Every challenge, Every win (small or large) has brought us here. What started out as honoring Uncle Waithley himself - Founder & CEO @mrkarlfranz 's grandfather - has grown into something much bigger and led us to a place where we can continue carrying forward the legacy, culture and spirit he represents 🙏🏽.
