Except I told my mom not to listen to my podcast.

Not because she wouldn’t be proud, she is.
And not because anything is a secret… this is all very public at this point 😜

But because she watched a few clips from episode one…
and called me right after saying,
“I wish I knew you felt that way. I feel terrible. Maybe I could have done something.”

And that’s exactly why.

Because the truth is
I really wasn’t ready back then.
And I got really good at hiding things, from my parents, and from myself.

So I told her that night (and I probably should say it more often):

“Mom, I love you.
You were - and are - the best mom I could ever ask for.
You didn’t miss anything… I just wasn’t ready to be seen.”

So for now,
just cheer me on from the sidelines.
Like my posts.
And tell your friends to listen.

I love you.

Episode 2 out now on all platforms.

I don’t even blame her.

She only knew what she knew at 19.

And she wasn’t wrong.

I saw things I didn’t have words for yet.

I just didn’t know how to hold it…
or what it would mean.

Episode II Streams on all platforms tonight.

I’ve had to discover and redefine what commitment looks like.

I’ve had to live with indecision and the consequences of all my decisions.

I’ve had to discover what choice is and what commitment is to this life. I say it again because this work is constant.

Even 18 years later. It’s daily work.

Find out how we stayed.

Can I admit that this is my favorite part?

It might be 2:30am but our podcast is launching tomorrow and the creative process has me high.

See you on the other side as we welcome Undecided & Committed. A podcast by us.

This podcast is sponsored by our very talented media guy @yossiloloyan who has spent hours creating and editing the best quality sound and video - I highly recommend! He also just made Aliyah this week - so launching a podcast and moving to Israel is no small feat!
