If public schools could be funded like sports betting platforms….but in all seriousness, our NC public schools are doing so much, with so much leas than what they are constitutionally guaranteed. Be a public education voter this fall and vote for officials who support our schools, our students and our teachers. by @underwirenc

We had a choice this week, we could stew in rage about Phil Berger and the NCGOP selling us all out and wanting to even, and impossibly further gerrymander nc, or we could throw on our dancing shoes, head down to the NCGA and dance out our rage. Try as they might, they don’t own us. We are so much stronger and have the will of the masses on our side and that is how we know at the end of the day we will prevail. We stand with our fierce NC Dems!

This election season, we’re doing something that matters. Moms on Defense is about showing up at polling sites so voters feel safe, their votes are protected, and our communities know we’re watching out for each other. That’s election protection. You’re present, you’re observing, and you’re making sure every voter can vote without barriers or intimidation. by @underwirenc

Early voting starts TOMORROW in Wake County, and here's the thing nobody tells you about midterms: way fewer people show up. 🗳️

In 2024, about 74% of NC voters cast a ballot. In the 2022 midterm? Just 51%. That means every single vote this fall carries more weight than it does in a presidential year.

And this ballot is a big one: U.S. Senate, U.S. House, the NC General Assembly, judges, and Wake County races that shape our schools, roads, and courts.

Early voting opens tomorrow (Thursday, Oct 15) and runs through Oct 31 at 18 sites across Wake, and you can vote at any of them. Not registered yet? You can register and vote the same day during early voting.

I put together a free, nonpartisan NC voter guide with every deadline, ID rules, early voting sites, and a voting plan you can save.

👉 Comment YES and I'll send it straight to your DMs.

Save this for later and send it to a Wake County friend who needs the reminder.
