Last month we hosted Meet the Makers together with Union Kitchen, The Well, and Foster Garvey and it ended up being one of our favorite weekends of the year.

Day 1 was all panels and conversations with leaders across CPG, retail, and consumer tech. People asked real questions, shared what’s working (and what’s not), and connected in a way that felt genuine.

Day 2 brought together 175+ local makers for the trade show. So much sampling, so many good stories, and a ton of people discovering brands they’d never seen before.

We’re grateful for everyone who came through, supported, and showed up for this community.

Last week, we partnered with Wildcard Incubator to help Ahjikan test their new alternative chocolate product called Govoce.

Govoce is made from burdock root, a traditional Japanese vegetable that is high in dietary fibers, rich in antioxidants, and naturally caffeine free.

We hosted 6 demos in our stores, surveyed over 150 customers, and interviewed 5 industry experts including @tpsscoop Rainforest Distribution @walmart @biritesf @savalfoods

Overwhelmingly, customers shared with us that they were most excited about the health benefits, especially the high fiber. by @unionkitchendc
