I’VE STARED DEATH IN THE FACE AND NOW IM A 2X GOLD MEDALIST.

may i never take for granted the impossibility of the life i get to live. there is no way i get to call myself the Fittest Seated Woman on Earth or a WZA Champion without the people who have sat with me in hell, held my hand in the pain, wiped my tears in the suffering, and picked me up when i had nothing left. there is no better way to celebrate the miracle of the past 3 years than on one of the biggest stages, surrounded by my chosen family. i am blessed beyond measure.

no matter what they say, your story ISN’T finished yet. fight like hell — for your next breath, your people, your dreams, your life. this moment is all you have, LIVE for it.

2 years since I made the best decision of my life to accept — a then stranger — @tommiazga’s invite to “check out his gym.” Later to find out I was in the presence of the 🐐 of Adaptive CrossFit.

Becoming a @unitedtrainingfoundation athlete has saved and changed my life in ways I can’t even fully comprehend. From five-pound dumbbells to Fittest Seated Woman on Earth, this journey has been incredible.

I have found a strength and a community within this sport that is like nothing I have experienced before. I owe it all to the coaches who believe in me, push me, and always have my back.

We are stronger TOGETHER.
