For decades, United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona has championed early childhood education, helping lay the groundwork for programs like Pima County’s PEEPs. Today, we’re building on that legacy!

We’re celebrating a $100,000 investment from Tucson Electric Power (TEP) to Supercharging PEEPs, helping expand access to high-quality preschool for more children and families.

This milestone builds on community collaboration that began in 2025 and months of conversations with TEP to bring this partnership to life.

A special thank you to TEP CEO Susan Gray and Pima County Supervisors Rex Scott and Andrés Cano for joining us today!

We’re also grateful to First Things First, the Center for Economic Integrity, Southern Arizona Leadership Council, Pima County, The Preschool Promise and our many community partners.

As the first corporate investment in Supercharging PEEPs, we hope this inspires others to join us!

Our call to businesses, philanthropists and neighbors: Invest in early childhood education. When we invest in children, we’re investing in stronger families, a stronger workforce and a stronger Southern Arizona. by @unitedwayaz

💙🌵 BIG COMMUNITY IMPACT TAKES ALL OF US!

Behind every Days of Caring project is a community of businesses and organizations that believe in the power of showing up for Southern Arizona. 🙌

We're sending a HUGE thank you to our Copper, Bronze, Turquoise and Corporate Sponsors for helping make Days of Caring 2026 possible!

Through their generosity and commitment to community, these partners are helping bring volunteers together to support local nonprofits, strengthen neighborhoods and create meaningful change across Tucson and Southern Arizona.

Because when businesses invest in the communities they serve, the impact reaches far beyond a single day of volunteering. It creates stronger connections, supports vital community resources and helps build a Southern Arizona where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

To every sponsor who chose to be part of something bigger, THANK YOU for showing up, giving back and helping us LIVE UNITED! 💙✨ by @unitedwayaz

We're sending a BIG thank you to Garmin, a proud GOLD Sponsor of Days of Caring 2026, for supporting one of Southern Arizona's largest celebrations of volunteerism and community impact. 🙌

Days of Caring is about more than checking a project off a list. It's about bringing people together, building connections and showing local nonprofits, schools and neighborhoods that their community is behind them.

Through partnerships like Garmin's, United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona can connect businesses and volunteers with opportunities to make a lasting difference where we live and work.

🎬✨ Something special is in the works, Tucson! 👀💙

Last week, we got behind the camera to capture something we're SO excited to share with Tucson and Southern Arizona!

A HUGE shoutout to @cchavezphoto , an incredibly talented Tucson photographer and videographer who has helped bring so many of United Way's campaigns, stories and creative visions to life. 📸🎥

Through his lens, we're able to do more than share what we do. We're able to show the people, partnerships and community connections that make our work meaningful.

And of course, a special shoutout to Jorge A. Ruiz, our Director of Corporate Philanthropy, for stepping in front of the camera and being one of the voices helping share United Way's mission and the power of businesses showing up for Southern Arizona. 🙌

Great storytelling brings people together, and we're grateful for the people who help us tell ours.

We can't wait for you to see what we've been working on. Stay tuned, Southern Arizona! 🌵💙 by @unitedwayaz

💙🌵 BIG IMPACT STARTS WITH BUSINESSES THAT SHOW UP!

A huge THANK YOU to @txinstruments , a proud GOLD Sponsor of Days of Caring 2026! ✨

At United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona, we believe strong communities are built when local businesses invest more than resources. They invest their time, their people and their commitment to making a difference.

Through Days of Caring, that commitment comes to life as volunteers roll up their sleeves to support local nonprofits, strengthen neighborhoods and create meaningful change across Southern Arizona.

Texas Instruments is helping turn the power of corporate philanthropy into real community impact, reminding us that when businesses lead with purpose, everyone benefits.

Thank you, Texas Instruments, for investing in the community we all call home and helping Southern Arizona thrive! 💙

Together, we're building a stronger Southern Arizona, one act of service at a time. by @unitedwayaz

💻 STILL NEED TO FILE? Our FREE online volunteer tax preparation service is available through October 15! Eligible households earning up to $89,000 can receive trusted assistance from IRS-certified VITA volunteers, right from home.

🙌 READY TO GIVE BACK? We're already gearing up for the next tax season and looking for community members to join our VITA volunteer team! No tax experience needed. Just a willingness to learn and make a difference.
