This powerful lesson is a reminder that understanding begins when we become willing to see beyond our own perspective. Empathy doesn’t require agreement. It requires listening, curiosity, and the courage to consider another side.

At Unity Table, that is exactly what we believe: different experiences can exist at the same time, and meaningful connection begins when we make room for all of them.

Different Voices. Shared Solutions.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and to honor the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that followed.

Grateful to join @joedessexcounty and @sheriffamirjones and our community at the Essex County September 11th Memorial at Eagle Rock Reservation for a moment of reflection and remembrance.

May we never forget those we lost, the families who continue to carry their memory, and the first responders who answered the call without hesitation.

As Donny Hathaway reminds us, “Someday we’ll all be free.” 🇺🇸🕊️

This is what Unity Table is about.

We may not agree on every issue, policy, or perspective. But disagreement should never erase respect, sincerity, or our shared commitment to community.

Different voices. Shared solutions.
We can disagree and still remember that we are on the same team. 🇺🇸

What an incredible evening at Unity Table: Welcome Back.

Community leaders, educators, first responders, business leaders, partners, and neighbors came together not just to connect, but to celebrate the people who show up for our communities every single day.

A special thank you to our teachers and first responders for your service, dedication, and impact. ❤️

And to our sponsors, donors, partners, special guests, and everyone who joined us at The Highlawn, thank you for continuing to believe in the power of bringing people together.

We’re proud to sponsor Sheriff Amir D. Jones’ Back-to-School Community Day! 📚🎒❤️

Little Box of Love, through our Unity Table initiative, is honored to support this wonderful community event, taking place August 31st from 5–10 PM at Monte Irvin Park in Orange, NJ.

100% of the donations collected through our Back-to-School Supply Drive are going toward supporting this initiative and helping provide school supplies for local children and families.

Thank you to everyone who donated, shared our drive, and helped us give back. We’re excited to join Sheriff Amir D. Jones, our community partners, and families from across the area for a day of fun, resources, connection, and giving.

Together, we’re helping students start the school year ready to succeed. 💙📓✏️
